Even if your not a Dragonball Z fan I do recomend Budokai Tenkaichi. Its a pretty fighting game if your not too much into story mode and just all about brawling.

I don't really have a favorite but the Mortal kombats are good. Deadly aliiance and Deception are the best of them. I also like the battles in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time because its almost like a fighting game and RPG mixed.

without a doubt, tekken 5. They just really, really made sure to get everything fluid and flawless in the game

They're all pretty good. Tekken, Soul Calibur, SF series are all good. Haven't played Tekken 5 yet or SC3 yet tho.
