Tales of Symphonia was a great game, but is it better on the Gamecube or Playstation?

Not much diffence between the 2 except PS2 gets a few bonuses.Personally i perfer Abyss over the whole tales series. The characters and story are better than anything I thought and way better than Tales of Symphonia which I consider to be one of the Greatest RPG's ever.

I've played Phantasia and Symphonia. I liked the first and loved the second. Now I'm playing Legendia, and I'm not really into it yet, but I'm still hoping. I have ToD to play on the PSX, but I have to play some other games first.

mmm tales isnt exactly the best series and can get boring fast for those who have played a lot of RPGs. As for you, i think it can be quite enjoyable. Everything relates to the laws of diminishing returns.

Although i've only played (finished too ;) ) tales of legendia and symphonia (played like 5 minutes since i dont own the game) And those games are sweet. Love the sense of humour used in it (but that's common sense in the most anime based games right ;) )

I love the tales of series. I own Tales of Abyss, Symphonia, and Phantasia, and still play them when I have spare time to this day.. beat all of them about 2 or 3 times though.

I've played Tales of SymphoniaIt was an ok game, I liked the combat, but the story was lacking and so was the endingThe replay value is good when you have a high grade to buy cool stuff whenever you beat it

really enjoyed tales of phantasia on snes, but can't bring myself to play it on the gba... because i heard that the voices are disgusting -_- found tales of symphonia somewhere, but i'm not sure whether it is a emulator+rom or what. it's currently sitting in my shelfo ya, since we are in the anime forum, i think there's a tales of anime (i forgot which one) out there.

I've played Tales of Symphonia, the Abyss, Legendia, Narikiri Dungeon 3, and Phantasia. Although I really want to import the Tales of Destiny Remake, Tales of Destiny 2 (the actual sequel to tales of Destiny) and Tales of Rebirth. Out of all the ones I've played thoguh, Abyss was my favorite.
