I don't think I'll ever get tired of playing video games. I may tone it down a bit, but I will definitely keep a few of my consoles from the Dark Ages of gaming to show the kids and secretly play by myself. After college, I probably won't be purchasing any new systems, unless it's for the kids or whatever. I will definitely play with them and show them how much their old man can destroy them at video games, but it'll mostly be casual gaming. Probably no more Gameboys though... :( My English teacher from last year is a total nerd. But he's the cool kind who is just one of those awesome teachers you'll always remember. He used to bring in his DS to play Legend of Zelda when we were writing a paper or watching a movie. A true kid at heart! He even had a Wii and was a huge fan of Nintendo gaming, especially the Legend of Zelda series. That made downtime really fun because we could talk with him about classics like Link's Awakening and Ocarina of Time!

I'll probably never get tired of them. Sure, I might not find much time to play as I grow older and get a career, but until then, I'll be playing games as much as I can to make up for the amount of time I won't be able to.

Dude Never Will I Stop Playing video games,,,Never,Never,Never,,,.........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They are just to fun, and are a great escape from all the boring, painful, and all the bad crap kinda things we all go through in everyday life.Inside the game we get to be who we want on an adventure that we choose. Thats what makes video games great "You get to be someone else in a better world or life for that short time"

Anyone that thinks they should stop playing video games because of what other people think of them don't deserve to play them in the first place.

I think I'll stop spending so much money on games, and start picking one console to support, but as of now I don't see a reason to stop. Some people I know keep asking if kids my age will grow out of it, but I don't think our generation looks at it that way

The only thing that would make me even CONSIDER to stop gaming, is if I were to end up in a very bad monetary situation. At that point, I'ld give my faves a last time play through, get all the original boxes all nice and neat, and sell. But I really doubt that will happen in my lifetime :weep:

Chances are about the same for me to stop drinking, eating, or breathing. Which is a smart way of saying no I'll never stop playing games. I'll be an old man in the nursing home telling the nurse to get out of my way that I'm in the middle of a battle, and i will probably die with a controller in my hands.

I'm the same as him. I doubt I'll stop playing video games when I'm older, unless there is other important stuff I have to do in the time I plan to play. Then again, one of my uncles is around 29 years old and he till buys consoles/games. So I think I'll probably be like him. Games are just way too cool, and when you add in improvements from the future, they become even better.Considering how advanced the wii is, with the controlers being able to sense your movements in a way where you can play virtual baseball/boxing etc. I really don't see "future technologies" to be far into the future. When I say future technologies I mean, holographic (like star wars radios), 3D (coming out of the tv, some games are already like this with te special glasses, but they suck), or a kind of virtual reality simulator where you put on a hat and can see the game world in 360 degrees.
