if you mean Sonic Adventure 2then you find Sonics first Upgrade in Metal Harborand they are the lightspeed Shoesif you mean sonic adventure 1you find them in the sewers of Station Squareand they are the same thing, the lightspeed shoes

that would be the Ancient light, found in Green Forest zone, it is hidden offstage if you do a homing attack near the middle of the stage before the second or third checkpoint, you will hit a bettle Sentry robot and land on the platform with the upgrade

Sonic's third upgrade is the Bounce Bracelet, found in Pyramid Cave, or run, which it is i can't remember, you get it through the course of the mission

Sonics Fifth upgrade is the Magic hand upgrade, it is found in city escape, to get it, you need the bounce bracelet, and possibly the flame ring, it is found in the midsection of the stage before you get to the truck chase section, it's effect is to turn enemies into small balls, dont even laugh, so you can throw them at other enemies

Sonics Final Upgrade is Mystic Melody, it is found in Final Rush Early in the late part of the stage, it's effect is Random, but it allows you to use the Little Altars of the Master emerald figures scattered through out sonics stages, This Upgrade is required to complete all Mission C objectives

the first upgrade that tails collects is the hover booster, i don't recall the name, it is found in the highway level for tails, i don't recall because i hate the twit, and it's effect is it allow you to hover around as long as the button is held
