I would have to pick the PS, it had cool games like FF and Tekken. that was a cool game. 64 did have a few classic games like mario. but it never took off for me. the actual controller was a big down turn because of the really annoying shape.

In that generation of gaming N64 own PS1 since well n64 had more fun games, although N64 was still using game cartridges instead of CD's, Ps1 had more games but some were carp/random, N64 > Ps1

PlayStation of course. i spent most of my time on it and i really didn't own a Nintendo 64. i just went over to my cousin's house, but i really enjoy playing memorable games like Duke Nukem or Mario Party.

I choose n64, because it has plenty of great games, when there are only a few good playstation games. Sure playstation is cheap, but nintendo plays better.

I like the 64 better. It was the first 3-D console I ever played. Good times, good times...

Thats a really hard choice. I would have to choose Playstation just because they had the Resident Evil games.

Well I am rather partial to the PS1 because it was the first system I actually bought myself. I never had a N64 anyway. But it had some good RPG's which are the games I like. But overall PS1 had the best games and I thought was better...

Playstation had some good games but did it have anything to beat the likes of Perfect Dark?

how are they better?playstaion games were cheaper but that means they were that way because they were bad games plus near enough anything the playstaion had the n64 was better atsorry about that clicked on wrong reply but agree but goldeneye was better thatn perfect dark

Anybody that says that Playstation had better graphics than N64 doesn't know what they're talking about. The N64 was far superior in terms of graphics, assuming of course that the games companies could fit all that information into the cartridge. In terms of power, in terms of graphical capabilities, the N64 was superior to Playstation. The N64 was innovative, although I much prefer the Playstation's SNES-style controller. It's true that the Playstation had much better RPGs than N64 and ever since the demise of the SNES, Nintendo hasn't had very many RPGs released for it.I much prefer my N64, though.Where else could you get the likes of Super Mario 64, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mischief Makers, Paper Mario RPG, Wetrix (which reminds me, I need a ROM of that game), Super Smash Bros, Killer Instinct 64, and the first Castlevania 3D game?Where else could you get Goldeneye and Perfect Dark? And it's not as if Resident Evil 2 wasn't ported over.Heck, even Megaman Legends was eventually ported over to the N64 (though I never saw hide nor hair of it).People who don't think there were many good games for the N64 really haven't tried looking. There's some really fun games for that console which looked as if they should have sucked but didn't.

I never had a PS1, but I played my firend's a lot. To me (at my age then) the games weren't that great. I had a N64, and I loved that thing to death. I have a bunch of ROMs.
