i think playstation is really better than n64. PS has many games compared to n64.

I had a playstation when i was like seven and i still like the 64 better because the fun games like super smash bros and zelda, but on the playstation i had final fantasy which was still fun

PS1 is much better than N64 though the N64 did have a bunch of exclusive games so it was good for those games...

yeah, its a toss up, but ill say the n64, just because it had golden eye on it. remains to this day, one of the few games adapted from a movie which have been good.

I'm gonna have to say N64 on this one. Yes, I loved the PS1, yes it had the Final Fantasy series (btw, I hate FF7, far too overhyped), but the N64 just had so many excellent games, and that's what I grew up playing, that it has the vote from me. I'm also a Nintendo fan anyways

well. playstation was definitely higher tech since it used the cd instead of the cartridge. i think that the nintendo 64 was loved more however. me personally? i never liked the original playstation, so i would definitely have to say that the nintendo 64 was much better.

N64. Think about how bad games like Super Mario and Zelda would have been if they had loading times.

What was great about the n64 was its use of cartridges. I know that they are not very efficient and have horrible sound quality, but the lack of loading time was really nice. I also like the famous series of Nintendo, such as Zelda, Mario, and Starfox, as opposed to the playstation's seemingly random compilation of games.

i always thought the graphics for the PS1 were way better than the polygonal looks of the N64 so i liked it way better

DEFINATELY N64. You can't get Kirby and the Crystal Shards on Ps1.

I love nintendo cuz the games are a lot more fun. the ps2 games are all shooting, no good adventures. nintendo has sweet adventure games and other games.N64 has a better graphics card and RAM then PS1? I don't think so. They were still using cartridges, even though it looked nice and all. It was still pretty weak compared to PS1.Gamecube is the most powerful system out there?Wrong again! X-box is the most powerful, then it's Gamecube followed by the PS2.Even though I love PS2 and I want to say it's the most powerful, I'll still have to admit that X-box is the most powerful console. In certain circumstances, the GC might be more powerful. Like the upcoming Resident Evil 4 and they were only able to make it look like that on the Gamecube.Also, I don't get why people today just want games with graphics. Everytime I here someone say a game is good. The first thing they say is graphics. The SNES is still fun to play even today, because of their quality games. Graphics is important but not as important as the gameplay and storyline.

n64 hands down.so many classic games that evolved into today's top games.i can't remember one ps1 game off the top of my head that is a great (ps1) game
