64 are your guys shiting me Zelda, perfect dark, 007 goldeneye, starfox, Mario, SUPER SMASH BROS.

i think ps is better than 64, reason. if you look carefully, the models used of the games on 64 arent one mesh but separate ones. limbs and body arent united which means there isnt an skeleton system to move the the mesh but the mesh itself is the skeleton. all the contrary on the ps.

i won't deny that the playstation was graphically superior and that they had better games. but the n64 had ocarina of time which is the best game ever.

As much as I LOVED goldeneye, the Ps1 is by far a better system. where else could you find so many RPG's at the time but on that system? the final fantasy series blew up again after the fmv's were introduced in FFVII. 2 more words to prove the PS1 is better: Oddworld Driver

I prefered the Playstation over the n64 in mnay ways but i still like the n64 due to the fact that Zelda majoras mask is my 2nd fav game

The PS1 had better 1player games (MGS, FFXII come to mind), while N64 had great multiplayer games (Smash Bros. Mario Kart, etc.)Which one is better? It truly depends on my mood and how many gamers are around me.

idk, i had a LOT of fun with games on N64 like mario kart/zelda/ smash bros/mario partybut ps1 had a lot of great rpgs, and better graphicsso id say its a TIE =D

as much as i love both systems, you got to admire nintendo for its efforts. They make excellent games for the most part for their system that have nowhere near the loading time of their competitor. They also had four player games as opposed to sonys two controller games. They had more franchies already set up so they got some better titles, for a while at least. Nintendo also had the first rumble controller if remember correctly. also nintendo had the almost indestructiable cartiridges as opposed to sonys fragile discs. But sony has its wonders of the time as well, like say parappa the rapper or ridge racer, and then of course ff7. Graphics and gameplay on top of a great story!!!! Sony ultimately wins in my book, but i still love that 64.
