For me it would have to be The Legend of Zelda II: Link's adventure. Talk about a waste of time when compared to the other greates like the original LoZ and Ocarina of Time. That game just does not work as a side scroller. Another mistake would be Gex 64 talk about a bad PC conversion. That remindes me of the worst accesory I've ever bought the Nintendo Glove. Does anyone remember that giant turd?I could never get that stupid thing to work on any game. That thing was about as bad as the stupid robot that they used to have for theNES. Everyone I knew that had one said it broke within the first week of playing with it. And I agree Shadowgate 64 was a big mistake as well.

Link: The Faces of Evil, Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, and Zelda's Adventure for the Philips CD-i were probably the worst games I've bought to date (circa 1993 - 1994). The controls were horrible and the animation was jittery enough to make you want to puke up last week's dinner.

I regretted buying Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrects. IGN made it sound like it was almost as good as Zelda. It wasn't even close, and the load times were the worst on the GC by far.

Not buying downloading FFMQ(Final Fantasy Mystic Quest). Horibble game, FFMQ was first rpg and ruined my view of rpgs for a while ywhen I finally download ff4 and felt great playing that. Moral o,f story-never play FFMQ, its a piece of gay ****!!!!!!!!! I hated squaresoft because of it. It was god damn boring easy low graphical, and just not fun.

I regret buying Metroid Prime:Hunters for the DS. A friend of mine let me play it and I was like, "Hey this is fun!". Then when I bought it and played it for an hour or so, I didn't like it. :P

Definitly Final Fantasy X. Ugh.... My soul dies just thinking of it.My brother was going to Funcoland. I gave my mother $50 and told her to tell my brother to get FF. I told her he'll know which one I want. Well, he comes home with FF X. :'( The game I wanted was FF Chronicles(this was before it was re-released on Best Hits, so it was $40-50).

See what happens when you have a younger sibling but a game for you. I learned my lesson when I told my sister I wanted the newest star wars game and she came back with Super Bombad Racing. God what a stupid game it sure lived up to it's name it was a bomb and bad.

Duke Nukem 64. Bad graphics. No storyline. It was basically just loud. Didn't redeem itself with the multiplayer options either.

There are so many bad/pointless N64 games in existence, and I unknowingly bought many of them based on hype from people at boards like these. Never again, though. Luckily, I could return them for store credit if I didn't like them, but even at that, finding good N64 games was a chore. Many of my N64 regrets include:F-Zero XCastlevania 64Quest 64 Nightmare CreaturesStar Wars: Episode I RacerTony Hawk Pro Skater 2 Pilot Wings (which is basically a demo rather than a game)Kirby: Crystal ShardsExtreme-G

Sword of Mana. I played through most of it and I really couldn't get into it.I should have expected it - I actually didn't like Secret of Mana either.

I bought Lunar: Eternal Blue......the voice acting was A - F - U - L...I put up with it until I got to the last boss battle, and then I sold it before I beat it, because I just didn't care about the ending. And I NEVER sell games.

I Happened to get the X-Files for the PS1 along with a PS1 I had purchased. I ended up trading it to my friend for a bottle of pepsi or something. That was the happiest day of my life.
