I think i will buy it tomorrow ...... 
I haven't watch the trailer yet .... buti heard the rumor say that suikoden 5 is the last suikoden .... is it true ??

I used to be such a Suikoden junky, but after 3 it started going downhill pretty fast. Especially Suikoden tactics...what the hell were those people thinking?? Let us know if this one is any good or not, though. I miss the fun of looking for 100+ characters to play with (or just look at, in the case of some)

From what I've heard it's better than IV...actually I've heard it's the best since II and that is saying alot. I have it, but can't play it right now.

I visit Best Buy a lot (I kinda work there, but I'm employed by a different company that helps them with things), and I always check their PS2 games to see if they got Suikoden V. Anyone's BB stock this game? I wanted to just see the gorgeous front cover...the artwork rocks. I wish I could play the game too, and the reviews are really good (from Japanese reviewers). Yeah, it's basically up there with Suikoden II (maybe not as good, but definitely in the same league).

I see no one has really said anything about this game's content, so let me be one of the first to reassure you: This game is awesome. It kind of starts off slow, with a lot of story, but the game is amazing in terms of it's content. I picked it up on release day and I can barely put it down. I would suggest getting it definately. After the disappointment that was Suikoden IV, I could see why people would be skeptical, but Suikoden V is definately worth your money.

Yes, it's very good. It really sees to be an updated Suikoden 1 & 2. The battles are very similar to the old ones. Even with alot of old mechanics in V there's alot of new stuff that just adds icing to the cake.

Im 40hrs into the game and wow this game is one of the best Suikoden games.They finally made a better Suikoden since Suikoden 1 and 2.

From what i heard Suikoden V is better than III and IV but almost the same as II which is a good game

I would buy it, but as of right now the main character creeps me out. I KNOW he's a guy, but I cant tell half the time. Ill get over it soon though, cause Im a huge Suiko fan.But Ill definaely wait until the proce drops a bit

Suikoden V was definately better then IV, but thats not saying much as IV was hugely dissappointing.
