Definitely Awakened Alma and Marbus from Ninja Gaiden Black, the very hard and master ninja levels are a pain in the donkey

i hate those worms the most!!!!! don't know why i can't beat easily. anyway, in teh trailer i say for sigma, there are like 5 worms!!! how in the world am i gonna beat that? better polish my dodging skills

th last boss that guy with the dark dragon swordi think he is the easyest boss of the game i kill him only jump and using Y with the main swordi would probably have to say the last boss

Depends what version you played. In Black they fixed the abusability of the Flying Swallow technique, so you couldn't spam just about every boss with it. So I will have to say Black's hardest boss would either be Alma's second form or Doku's second form on Hard or Very Hard.

I vote for Alma because she's pure evil. 
Doku is pretty hard too, but since you fight Alma twice, she gets the "most frustrating and nerve racking" boss award.

i think that the boss on level 14 the one where u have to go up against all the old but way more powerful bosses before him it took me about 20 go's just to get to him and i had to go back through all those fish to get loads of items and it took bout 5 go's to get back to the item store 
but i did and completed the game

meh......i couldn't even get past the first boss till i realized i was supposed to dodge using roll and then attack....i don't even want to continue the game and face alma

Alma is definitely the hardest. That being said, there are no easy bosses. In fact, when comparing bosses in this game to bosses in most games, they are all on my top 30.

I found Alma to be very easy if you ask me. I think the one i had trouble with was some giant winged dinosaur like creature. been awhile since i played the game lol.

Yeah, Alma was pretty nuts. Damn, I wish I had Ninja Gaiden Black. It didn't come out in New Zealand though.

Hardest boss to me...... had to be the mutated flyin girl in the church. couldnt seem to ever get her where i wanted her....

I know what you mean...this was the only game in my 30 some game collection that I hadn't beaten for a while. I actually had to start over to beat the game. For some reason, the second time was a LOT easier. I think it's because I didn't totally suck at it. My sister wanted to borrow this game, and I wouldn't let her, because she'd have it for a year. If you're not a gamer, this game isn't for you. Anyway, the last boss was toughest for me, some say Doku, but I really just jumped off walls, and slashed him to win. Main thing was to not get hit with that attack that almost killed you. The last boss was ridiculous. So much life, and took forever...hahah... all of them... I couldn't stand this game.
I don't think anyone's talking about the last, last guy. I think we're all talking about that ridiculous climb up the tower, only to go into another world, with the last "boss" who was insanely hard. If everyone is talking about the last, last guy, then I change my answer to the boss before the very last guy. They made that guy easy, because you just went through an insane battle, and weren't able to save afterwards.
