you have to blow on the mike to get rid of the sand on the 2nd part of the map. after that, you have to go to the island on the middle of the first quadrant and go around the little mountain to get to the back door of the house. the old guy should give you the boat cannon that you can install from your home island. now, that's as far as i got and i can't seem to get to the 2nd part of the map because of the tornadoes and fog. anyone got past that?i haven't tried the thing on an emulator, but i doubt it would work right now. i guess you could always just get it now and keep it around in case you get your ds working or the emulator gets updated.

I haven't tried it on emulators yet, but I can tell M3DS Simply with Firmware v1.06 works perfectly.

This game is pure awesome! It's a shame I cannot read Japanese, but other than that, its not that hard... The only thing that makes it tough is not knowing where to go next because of not understanding the language. Here's a picture of how to get passed the fog:http://img140.images...3628/ph1me9.jpgI'm on an island with wind now, completely stuck. Anyone wanna help me?

Yeah, the game is really awesome...I just can't wait to play the American version...but the language really makes it a bit hard....I'm stuck for the third time now =/

I'm on an island with wind now, completely stuck. Anyone wanna help me?

In this island, there are some Windmills to the north right??? on the way to the part with the Windmills, there is a sign marking three of these Windmills on the map, just go next to the three that you marked on your map and blow then to make them work...this will open the door to the second dungeon...I'm stuck right after the second Dungeon...I marked the place of the Third dungeon, but the island just don't shown on the map, and I don't know where to go to make it show =/....please, help me x_xPS: Sorry for my english =/

on the wind island, there are a few things to keep in mind:1. use the wind to jump across large gaps2. you can use the shovel to fill in holes, including the wind fissures, as well as digging them upoh, after you finish that dungeon, remember to go back to your home island and go through the hourglass dungeon down to the 6th floor where it lets you mark the green circle thing onto your map. now, i'm suck there where i'm supposed to get the grapple on the ship. i went to the guy who gave me the cannon and paid him 1000 rupies, but i don't know how to attach it to the ship.

to answer both of you, after going to B6 on the hourglass dungeon you will see that sun after drawing the hourglass, close your ds lid and the green mark will appear on your world map, if you are using a emulator give up there is no way to put it into sleep mode to do this, after the green mark is now on your world map, go back to the guy who sold you the cannon and blow into the mic, he will then sell it to you, the grappling hook is already installed on your ship, you can now also use it to get the red X's on your map, i recommend you go and get the one east of the starting island its a hourglass piece which will increase your time, anyways to use the ship grapling hook, click on the green scroll on your button left, you will see a picture of a treasure chest, guide the hook down and grab the treasure chest at the very bottom, if you damage your hook you will need to go back to the guy who switches out parts for you and he will charge you a fee to fix it up. (your hook has hp like you and your ship but it does not go back up by itself).

yeah, i felt pretty stupid after i saw the little hook button on the menu while on the ship. i keep thinking i should stop playing and wait for the english version since i have to look up just about every word to figure out what they're saying and i've been avoiding reading if there wasn't any color coding in it, but i can't seem to stop... curse the addictive thing.there are a few things that's been bothering me:1. what's the weird slate thing that the frog gives you on the whale island and what happens when you write stuff the little frogs show you on their sign?2. what's the ticket thing that the merchant gives you by mail when you get 21 points for?3. what's Jolene's letter for?4. do customizing the boat make any difference other than cosmetic changes?5. what's are three colored tear things with the symbols for?

if there's a red door with things on the corner, aren't you on B6? the tombstones actually have instructions on how to draw an hourglass on the door. it looks like:1(5)_____2 X_______X 3_______4just connect the points and it turns into an hourglass, yay!

I've been waiting for this game actually. But now that it's actually out I can't get it to work. >< I know that some people asked about technicalities with Zelda working on slot 1, but is there anyone who knows how to work Zelda on a slot 2 modifier? (I use a supercard lite and a passcard to play my roms.)

i think you actually need to get a patched version of the rom to get it to work on supercard stuff. i've seen a patched version of zelda for supercard products around and i'm not sure if you need that even with the latest firmware, but i think that's the case. i'm not sure if you can get the patch separately either.
