Well, it does relate to Fire Emblem in another way because of the moving through squares.

That is true, I kinda rushed my comparisons when I posted earlier and at the time that seemed to be trivial information but you are correct that is a similarity except in YU moves as you already know are cumulative (everyone shares them) and based on the card you use instead of Fire Emblem where everyone has there own preset move range. Overall I would say it is more like Fire emblem than it is final fantasy tactics.

Most of all Fire Emblem can choose what weopen you want to use,got a ton of playable character, can do training and many more. For me Fire Emblem is far more easier than Yggdra Union.Yggdra Union you need to always be careful when you want to move or attack.

Does Yggdra have anything different or new than Reviera? Or is it basically the same game just different plot and story?

Riviera and Yggdra Union are very much different if not nothing alike, there stories are different, Riviera is a RPG, while Yggdra Union is a TBS (turn-based Strategy). There only real similarity is that they are both made by sting and have the same graphics. If your looking at Yggdra Union to be a sequel or Prequel to Riviera you won't find it here, from my playthroughs there is nothing concrete that can tie the two stories together.

Yggdra is such a great game. Milanor is the best. The only problems that I can see with the game are that the battles can get a bit repetitive, and you can't recover morale unless you use items, which is really bad for people like me who love to hoard items "just in case." The only other problem that I have is keeping Milanor from getting MVP every single fight. He's just too good! :(

Milanor does indeed get Mvp most often and it is often unavoidable. My best strategy for you is to try and have the others attack more than mil, and have him go after harder units since he will most often be able to kick anyones arse. Having Mil overpowered isn't always bad, my mil is maxed out and lvl 17 and can kill almost any enemie with relative ease even enemies who use swords.

Only problem with that strategem is that Milanor is my favorite and best character, so in almost any situation I'd rather have him fight than anyone else. XD Steal is soooooo goood. +30% damage! XD There's a whole lot of animation for it that you never see too... if you turn off some of the layers, you can see that he does this cool spining throw thing that 's totally awesome.

I know it is hard not to use Milanor, but if you use him too much, your team will be severely underpowered and that could become a problem in later missions. there are cards that can turn units to stone if milanor gets put under these effects he is out for awhile, that could really screw things up for you that is why I am saying relying on one character in this game is a very bad idea.

The easy way to still be able to hoard your items is to not lose battles. The only thing that you should use to recover morale with are the medallions. I rarely used items other than the Early Drive for Milanor because he killed enemies too quickly. Couldn't steal...

That would require not loosing. >.< How can you not take damage in some of those battles, like the one with Gulsica? I struggled to get through without sacrificing any of my characters as bait... And yeah. Stupid enemies going and dying before I can take away their possessions. :PSo the MVP bonuses really do become significant later on? Good to know...

Gul is easier if you use the Berserker axe that you get from that Bandits who name just slipped my mind if you use steal on him. It make milanor have Infinite Aggressive so you can hurt him easier, that is how I beat him. I know I have just been saying don't use Mil alot but in this case you have to. and as for not losing morale unless you lose, not entirely true, did you forget about the ankhs, cannons, poison swamps that on slowly deplete your morale. Yes losing a battle does it faster and more but the cannon is just as dangerous as losing a battle. The real trick is to use your items sparingly and only use things other than medallions in emergencies. Even if you follow that you still will probably be hard pressed for items, but that is one of the things that makes the game fun and challenging.

It is really fun although the battle system can take time to get used to.

Anyways, ankhs, cannons, poison swamps and the such take away a percentage of your remaining morale so unless if you are losing battles that you shouldn't lose, the medallions are enough to carry you through the game. Only around Battlefield 35-36 will you might struggle a bit.

Oh yeah 35 and 36 are definite annoyance levels. Also 40-something the one with the ankh cannon (and a certain event that makes me quite sad) is quite annoying as well that ankh cannon packs a HUGE punch to it.
