I use walkthroughs if I'm really stuck on something, or if I've played through already and I want an alternate ending. Very useful. :)

I use the walkthrough when the hints on what to do don't help in getting through the event.

When I stucked, at first I try to solve by myself. But if it cost a lot of time, I then use Walkthrough. However I use walkthrough but not cheat.

Not really, anymore, unless I want to unlock everything, or don't really care about spoiling stuff for myself.Usually, I don't use walkthroughs in RPGs, though, because I think figuring out how to defeat enemies the most effective way is part of the fun. :)

Sometimes I will, not often. When I'm stuck for over an hour, I will. But otherwise, I usually find what to do without a guide.

I don't like walkthroughs, unless I catch wind of something really awesome that I'll wanna check out for the hell of it. Or like in a PC game, where i didn't use one, and i spent over a year to find this one item that was right in front of me,,

I use walkthrough only for games that have many hidden things or a very difficult plot. I use walkthroughs for many Final Fantasy's and other RPG. For N64 LoZ-OT would've been too difficult without a walktrought too...

I use faqs if a puzzle is too hard to figure out (I mostly used them for Golden Sun....when I should've played on my own..)

LOL, This is my friend's opinion of Final Fantasy: A game where you walk around, fight random battles, and run to your com to look at a walkthrough. Having said that, it is obvious that we(my friends and myself) use walkthroughs. I mean, MGS, how would i know that i have to take out the controller from port one and plug it into port 2 to kill the cyber ninja guy?
