I try to avoid them, but i admit that they can be useful.

Use walkthroughs at times for some games. You just get this frustrated feeling if u get stuck and can't continue th game so thats my reason

I have a hard time accepting that i can't do something myself, but after about a day or 2 of being stuck I'll break down and get a walkthrough. Lucky for me thats not too often.

this can sound weird, actually I use walkthroughs only after I've finished the game at least once, I don't like to spoil fun that fast, and only use them when I can't find all the secrets of that particular game, because I'm a little freak, I'm not happy until I find the last secret, complete the percentage, and obtain all the things I can get from the game, just then I feel like I've actually completed that game.

yeah i use walkthroughs whenever i get stuck and cant get through the level. They help with games that are not in english :Dalso use them when ive finished a game and want to re-do it with 100% sometimes i still fail at it 
only because i see if i can already do it and get ahead of the walkthrough and then i fail again :(walkthroughs rock =D

Sometimes, rarely do. I only used them when I really stuck and don't know how to deal with the problem.

Nope walkthroughs are crap the whole point of a game is to challenge yourself.If you have to use a walkthrough you've wasted your money.The only exceptoin was final fantasy 12 because making the ultimate weapons was crap!!!

One should not use walkthroughs because it almost amounts to cheating because it shows us everything where we have to go and what to do. then no fun remains in playing the game.

If the walktrough doesn't help me in a multiplayer-game etc. it is not cheating for me.

I don't use walkthroughs for the whole game. Maybe when I'm stuck in a certain part for an hour or so

Only if I'm absolutely stuck, or I'm trying to find the extra stuff. I think it's cheating for finding weaknesses or battle strategies though...I miss the old days where we didn't have the internet at our disposal to ruin every video game secret haha.

sometimes..when i get stuck on a level or if i like a "thing" that is so rare that only walkthroughs only know where is that "thing"

Walkthroughs are always my last resort. I try until I have no clue what I'm doing, then I give it a go.

i agree i dont like using walkthroughs because they spoil the fun and the sence of achievement you get when you manage to complete a difficult bit however if i am completely stuck and have tried everything then i resort to walkthroughs

actually....i do more then ever now...I have trouble playing some games because they have these stupid puzzles where it will be like what's the square surface of a non surfaced pollygon?
