This was and is still a fantastic game, and although a remake would look sweet as a nut... the original would still be the best. The only thing that would be updated would the graphics, and everyone knows that graphics alone don't make a game good by themselves. I think Square-Enix should concentrate on making FF13 a true masterpiece for the PS3 instead.

I don't think they should remake ffvii ....it's already a classic the way it is...the only way you can make it better is the graphics, but if you do that, it's not ffvii anymore ... does anyone see where im going with this?!?ffvii was fun because from time to time, when you see everyone walk out of cloud, hahah, that's just hiliarous

Yes they should, In fact, they should remake FFVIII too. Great RPGS, they just dont make em like they used to.

I think they should make a continuation of Advent Children. I really liked theBikes. But I think the remake should be ok as long as its like FFXII.

I hope Square Enix should remake to psp or nds and add new ending. because only focus on RedXIII is not enough.

I used to think they shouldn't, but I really think they should now as the game would benefit so much with just a simple remake... voice acting,better music technology, better design and much better graphics. The story wouldn't need any changing and many of the models were made for Advent Children so they know they're design. It would bring it back to life and be able to present perfectly...

I think they should definately remake it. Not just for the graphics, but also add in some more extra sidequests and unlockable things.

I don't get you guys. Seriously, the only things really wrong with FF7 were the graphics and the lack of an analog control scheme and voice-overs. After seeing that tech demo (and advenct children) I think it would be awesome for a remake.

They were actually planning on making it, go to youtube.com or something and search "Final Fantasy VII remake", and you can see the starting movie of the new one. They cancelled it though.

for me, i neve rplayed the playstation version, and i simply cannot play outdated systems ( yeah im stuckup), so yes, i'd like to see a upgraded gaphics version, same story of course tho.

All it really needs is voices...and better graphics. everything else was fine. and make it not glitch when i'm summoning. ya..it kinda froze on me.. horrible place too.. didn't save for an hour...

That would be awesome to see some of the quality they could produce with that story...PSP, PS2, or even the PS3 would be an incredible advance in graphical characteristics...

OF COURSE! Think of all the rabid screaming fans that would buy it! Like me. I dont care what system it comes on though. i think it would be cool to see it on the Revolution, then they would have an excuse to remake it.
