As long as you don't stray away from the original, you can remake any game with better fx and graphics, I'm personaly wating for an FF6 remake for Playstation.

PS3 yes. 360 HELLZ NAH!!! All mainstream FF's should STAY on the PSWouldn't it be great if Square Enix remade FFVII for one of the newer systems coming out like the Xbox 360 or the PS3? The graphics would be fantastic. I for one would definatley buy it. I love the FF series.

it would rock if they remade it . they actually made a demo of the intro of ff7 for the e3 so people could see the graphics . it rocked yet cloud kinda looked like tidus . and that also goes for all ff games for the ps2 . everybody looks like tidus .

Yes, yes and yes. Seeing that game with stunning visuals would only add to the addictive and immersing story that is FFVII. I'd like to see them expand the plot a little bit too though if they remade it, not just update graphics.

i would like if Square did a FFVII remake in the vein of Resident Evil for Gamecube. ya know, not change TOO much but keep it fresh and add a few new things here and there to take advantage of new hardware.

What the hell, why not.Although reviving Aeris would be stupid. If they didn't give us General Leo in any of the FFVI remakes, they probably wouldn't (and shouldn't) give us Aeris back.

While very intrigued, I could definately see it not living up to the original. I'm not so much a fan of remaking a game just for the sake of better graphics, and would probably only rent the game just to see what it looks like. Square Enix's pulled off a few too many remakes in my opinion, although I am looking forward to getting a PSP for the FFT remake...can't turn down new job classes, Balthier and Luso.
