FFVII was awesome. We don't need a remake, we just need them to come up with a new FF with the same great story found in FFVII.

If Square know what they're doing they will but the shouldn't give it to Xbox360 users. because Final Fantasy belongs on the playstation.

they should not remake the FFVII, yes, the graphics would be so much better and everyone would love them but squaresoft would change somethings in the game no doubt, and that would be far worse that greater graphics

I wouldn't see the reason for remaking it expect for those cahracter models =\ and technically they didn't remake any of the previous ff's, they just ported it over to the psone which leads to FF anthology,origins,and chronicles and added a bit of extras here and there. The only thing I can see is this being ported to the psp or something

It would be amazing, that way they can enhance the in game graphics and make the cutscenes a lot better, possibly even adding voices.

Just read the topic and gotta say, HELL YES! FF-VII has made its mark in history that gamers of all ages and generations will take notice till the end of time. In the future, this game will be known as a legend and nothing more among only the most hardcore game junkies unless it is restored to a new form of its older glory! FFVII for the PS2 would have been a silly idea. A PS3 version sounds more reasonable. A PS4 version might actually come with a cable that plugs into your brain and allows you to enter the gameworld firsthand. Fanboys.

I'd love to see a remake. Although it might not happen anytime soon. A remake would be one of the best things that ever happened in my life.

Of course it will be awesom. With the new look for Cloud and his buddies. And they should add in the FF7 AC story into the FF7 original Story line. That will be the best selling FF serise there is, if they decide to remake. People, stary dreaming.....It might come true one day. Lets just hope that day comes soon enough. Or maybe they will remake it in PS3. But Ps2 is better I would say......

Would be cool if they remade some of the other games. FF7 would probably be the most probable for a remake, considering how popular it is

I'm going to reply with two words:Hell no!For it would ruin the game.A good translation would be good, but it would kill the game the way it is. Leave the game alone so we may go back to it with pride. If anything, a port to the ps3 would be nice, all disks contained on the one disk as not to lose any of them, that would be all I want as a "remake".

i beleive that square enix are remaking final fantasy 7, but for ps3 instead, and from there i think you know its gonna be more or less like final fantasy 10, with the stroy line and conrtols of 7, but it would be great to upgrade the graphics on that game and give it some decent videos.

I think it would actually be nice! That is... if everything is kept the same as before, and the graphics are like what they were in Dirge of Cerebus. Besides, the only disappointing thing about FFVII was the lack of appearance by Yuffie and Vincent in the end! It almost made them seem like some unimportant... side characters or something!(and I remember in my first play through, I actually missed them completely! )

A company should never remake a game that was awesome to begin with because the second time they end up adding tons of annoying little features. One example of this is when RE4 came out for PS2. The game was awesome on GC but on the PS2 they took out lots of the good things in the GC version out so that they could add in lots of bad things. This is my oppinion though.
