i hope they remake FF7 because they redid the beginning video of it to show the PS3 graphics and the video was AWESOME!!!!!

yes, yes and yes once more... I could defentaly go for a re-relese of ff7 with some new graphics a few littled adeed goodies... but in all honesty id rather have them remake FF6, my all time fav and in my opinion of the strongest storylines in FF history

I think it would be awesome for them to remake FF7, as long as they don;t change anything...but the graphics. The game was awesome as it is, but i think updated graphics would make it ever more better.

what repels people from FFVII is the graphics, remaking it would be awesime, old fans would buy it, and new ones will be added.they can also add more minigames and stuff.

totally! the graphics on the original ff7 come close to sucking. on the ps3 would be fine. i doubt square would ever put a ff on an xbox. the only reason gamecube got one was because square formerly made rpgs for nintendo

I'm totally for a remake of FFVII for the PS3, the thing is, i think it will take a really~ long time for the game to be made. But it will definitely be awesome to see how the new graphics will like in the game (plus the background will hopefully be interactive too) and maybe some gameplay tweaks here and there.

They have a tech demo floating around for the ps3 that shows FF7 characters, I think it is on game trailers, can't remember. In general a major yes to a remake. They should remake Xenogears too.

it would be awesome to see the newer graphics on the FF7 but i would rather see another final fantasy to match the legend of FF7 rather than play the same game over again

I would drop $50 so fast on an FFVII remake for PS2. If it were for PS3, though, I still wouldn't buy the console.

I think that they should remake final fantasy 7 for the ps3 or xbox360. It is a great game and would have better graphics on these systems.

think about it FF7 would attract all fans making a ton of money. also i am dying to see what everyone looks like i mean the old ps graphics didnt really show great detail. Advent children is in the future so i dont really know what everyone looks like and i dont know what a younger cloud looks like either or aeires. and maybe they could even advance the story, not change it but just add more stuff like about clouds past and show more of his friend ZACK!!!!!

FF7 is my favorite game and I would love a remake, but I'm already satisfy with Advent Childen. I think the remake deserves to go somewhere else like FF6, FF8, heck even Chrono Trigger without the DBZ arts.

I never had the chance to sit and fully play ff7 even though i heard everything possible about the game. But i kinda agree with mysterio on this note, ff7 has had plenty of shout outs in games like kingdom hearts one and two, they have advent children out, and the new shooter game they came out with just recently, i think it would be nice to see a remake of ff8 myself. Dont get me wrong if they made ff7 remake i would deffinately play it but i think other FF deserve to get a little bit of the spot light

I think that FFVII had one interesting plot and settings. But, since it was on the PS1, (and since it is a pretty old game...) the graphics are not that good. I think that if they upgrade it, there will be more volume to the plot and would make the game even more awesomer!!

At least for profit they should re-make it. Although I think it would probably cost them a ****load to re-make it. That might be the reason they wouldn't, but they've already spent some money on FFVII, Dirge of Cerberus and all, though the game really isn't all that great.
