i have three kids and each of them have a gba sp, one silver, one dark blue and one electric blue...i would say the color coding helped in identifying which unit belongs to who..the link cable was pretty much used in mario cart..

mine one is light blue colour...but i have make some change on my gba,so it already not like gba anymore

My gameboy was the early pokemon series yellow ones with the pikachu but i traded that for a blue one, cuz pikachu was kinda girly.

I have the Silver GBA SP. I Really Didnt have much of a choice as i had bought it during the month of its release and only silver and black were available and my father got it for me so i couldn't chose even from those.(it was $120 along with the charger when i bought it)

My GBA was a blue one, cause my fav color is blue. 
But my GBA SP is silver.

Man they had red or white 2 left and this damn lil kid took da red 1 right from my hand and started crying ---so i ended up givin it 2 him and settled 4 second best WHITE

I had glacier, purple and lime green. But now I mostly just use an iPhone for an Emu and the Glacier when ever I want to conserve on battery power.

Lol i bought a black one cuz it was really my favorite color. But now i really wish i had a different color, because the colors are fading.... I might get silver or maybe something with a sword theme.

*peace sign*I had one of the original GBAs (those blue ones) that came with a full accesory kit. Afterwards, my sister bought a purple one, and my younger brother got a pink see-through one. My brother and sister switched and then after a couple years, my grandma brought in about 5 blue and purple Advances from various garage sales.

I used to have a silver colored one. but later my brother found some manga sticker and turn it into a really unique one. Naruto, Bleach, Recca, all sort of thing.However it was broken a short while later. I bought another Blue one with half of my stocking money and a great pain in my heart(my brother broke it).

The one i got was purple because i wanted blue and my sister wanted white so we put them together and BAM here comes purple
