>.>Two PS2 controllers; two PS1 controllers. One of each was because of one of my cats getting into my room and deciding that the wires would make a good snack -- they do that a lot. Another time was because they, well... Imagine what cats do sometimes, when they're in heat. =\I keep my controllers under lock and key now. :)

I haven't broken any, lost any, or even thrown any anywhere. I still have the original that came with the PlayStation 2 box, and the other one that I bought as a second controller the same day. All of my controllers work, that have been bought the first time. My guns for Time Crisis 3 and 4 still work, and the dance mat that came with my Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2 bundle set is in fine working condition. I can't stand those people who tie their controllers up quickly and then get the rubber coating on the wires twisted because I've been doing it for years, and since I do it properly (loosely, and not tight so that the wires have leeway), I've been able to save money on such trifling necessities such as new controllers. If there's anyone else who hasn't been stupid with their controllers, then hooray for you.We are now best friends.I have had a controller taken away, though, during class. I was acting like I was controlling the teacher, and so I had it confiscated.Good stuff.Controllers: $20; Video Games: $50; Knowing that your controllers have lasted a lifetime: Priceless

One NES controller (Mysterious Water Damage), one SNES controller (X buitton stuck), and one Ps2 inspired PC controller, with which I wore out the springy thing contained beneath the Y button.Yes, I'm cursed to forever refer to controller arrangements by their SNES designations.

I've never broken any controllers. I've had a few controllers get worn out after awhile. My A buttons on my Wavebirds are getting kind of unresponsive and will probably need to be retired within the next year.

i have never broken one, but my current PS2 controller is just like a previous one i sold a few years back. there is a problem with the left analog stick, like when i move it up, it will stay stuck there. also, several of the top buttons do not work, as well as the directional pads. i don't have a new one, but i borrow my brother's since he is rarely seen playing the PS2 anymore. i believe the cause of this was because the controller was accidentally dropped many times over.

One. Well, i don't know exactly if I broke it, but when i tried to use it one day it had just stopped working. So i assume i had something to do with it.
