I need to get a new one now, my R1 and L2 rarely work. This will be my second controller.

I've owned 5 PS2 controllers and 4 out of those have screwed up. And I want to make clear that i NEVER throw them or anything like that.

For the PlayStation alone I have had alot...5 for the Playstation One2 For the Reg Playstation... (No analog Sticks)8 for the Playstation 2

I haven't broken any yet, because I don't have any money to buy new ones. XPI have a friend who's broken about 5 of them by throwing them across the room when she looses, though.We were trying to play Silent Hill 3 at her house and we couldn't change the camera angle because her only working one was slightly mangled.

I've Only Broken One.I Broke After I Got So PO'd At God Of War. I Threw It To The Floor And Stomped On It.

i have broken many controllers. it usually happens when im playing against a friend in some kind of game. because if ur playing the computer its no big deal but if your playing against your friend, or even worse someone who you really dont like, it gets on my nerves when i lose

I think ps2 controllers get messed up pretty fast when you play certain games. Like racing games can really mess up the left joystick. I already messed up 2 controllers that way. I can still use them to play slower games like ffx, but the response is just too slow for action type games.

Im about to go on my first PS2 controller. I had 2 but I seem to have lost the other. I just booted up the PS2 after a year or so of gathering dust so im kinda pissed I cant fast equip my gun on MGS3

I didn't personally break one, but I do have a funny story. I was babysitting my Aunt's puppy, and I left it alone for not 5 minutes. When I returned, I found my PS2 controller in it's mouth. The bite marks made it so uncomfortable to hold. I screamed at it and it cowered in fear. I felt really bad for yelling. But yeah, I've used a PS1 controller ever since because I was too lazy to go out and by a new PS2 controller.
