I've been hearing about how good Devil May Cry and was wondering would that game be good enough to buy a PS2 for this one game?Are there any other decent games worth playing on the PS2?

Final Fantasy X, Drakengard, Prince of Persia, Grand Theft Auto, Street Figher Anniverery Collection (coming soon), and Chaos Legion just to name a few

yup there r alot of decent games in ps2 like wat shining latios said but if u going just to buy a ps2 for 1 game then i say no but if u going to continue and buy games it will be a good idea.

It is a system worth to be bought, since it has many other functions as well. You can mod it, so it can play backups , become a multi-media player (Avi, mp3 etc. ) . BEst, its comes with a free DVD player.. =p

at first i did buy a ps2 for one game...final fantasy 10. there are so many other good games it turned out to be a wise choice.

I got a PS2, but I wouldn't get it for just one game, there are so many games that are good on PS2. Get Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3(when it comes out)

I bought my PS2 for one game. GTA III because i buy every GTA game that comes out. the PS2 has now become my favourite gaming system ever. GBA runs pretty close too though.

You shouldn't get it just for Devil May Cry because it isn't as fantastic as everyone say it is, neither is Kingdom Hearts.One of the best games I have ever played is Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.I've been hearing about how good Devil May Cry and was wondering would that game be good enough to buy a PS2 for this one game?Are there any other decent games worth playing on the PS2?

I think PS2 is the console with more "really-really-good-games" of all. And Devil May Cry maybe is good, but not of the best of PS2

I would not get a system just for one game. But I would get it if it had many games that appealed my interest. And anyhow the Xbox is the better system of the three.

For just one game it depends. I myself bought it to play final fantasy, maximo, castlevania, dynasty warriors and many others.

it all depends on what kind of games you enjoy.... but PS2 has a variety of games so, most probably, you will find a few you likes....recently though, ps2 has been coming out with action/adv games. a wave of RPG is coming... if you enjoy them, buy them!

how can u only like one game there are tons of awsome games for ps2 even if u buy it for 1 game i bet u will find alot of other games u like alot cause there are just too maney and if u do only like 1 game then ur just weird

I DID get a PS2 for just one game (Final Fantasy X). Same goes for Nintendo (Final Fantasy), Super Nintendo (Final Fantasy 2), and PSX (Final Fantasy VII).

I would not say it is worth it justr for Devil may cry, but there are ALOT of great games on the PS2 so I would still reccomend getting one.

Yes I got a game cube for just one game I have since picked up more games for the game cube.
