I almost got another PS2 (that would be my 5th one..) just so I could play Disgaea 2, but I'm gonna wait until I can afford a PS3. But yeah, I got an Xbox just so I could play Riddick, and I got a GC just for Tales of Symphonia, though I ended up liking my GC somewhat.

I originally bought my PS2 just for Final Fantasy X and haven't been too terribly disappointed, with Xenosaga I, Phase Paradox, and fairly decent backwards compatibility with PS1 games.

Well, I have many games to not be dissapointed by buying it, but if I were in the case of buying a console just for one game, I'll wait till the console low the price, now comes to my mind the case of the N64, that I just wanted this console to play Ocarina of Time, then I just needed to wait so many years to play it in my PC

. I Don't think it's the best idea to buy a console exclusively for a game, better go and check any other title that could be interesting for you or maybe a friend can lend/exchange the console for some time.

PS2 has a huge games library, there must be more than 1 game u will like, search around u may surprise how many games you will like. By the way, game like god of war and final fantasy X definitely make PS2 worth it.
