Would have to be the Mario series, considering the latest Mario Kart games (DS & Game Cube) & the New Super Mario Bros. for DS, it's gotta be Mario.

I like Legend of Zelda but I also like the Pokemon and Metroid series too and because I like them all I had a hard time voting

I chose Mario over all the other games because most of their side scrollers show that games can be simple but sweet and Mario has pretty much done everything imagineable probobly twice over

Mario and Zelda are pretty much neck and neck, but I'd say the edge has to go to zelda...I would argue star fox but the gamecube games were all so mediocre

To me Pokemon and Zelda are the most popular Nintendo game series. My favourite game series is Metroid. Used to like Pokemon, but I lost interest in it a few years ago.

Its hard to beat Mario the original games are just so timeless. The games set the foundation for a lot of games afterthat. The story is also a classic, when will Bowser ever give up. lol

I think the best series is the Fire Emblem series. It has like 9 games already (and one more for the Wii on the way), and it is basically the oldest tactical RPG series ever. All the games have really colorful and deep characters with vivid personalities, the gameplay is really addictive, and it incorporates a lot of RPG attributes.

Zelda's my favorite by far. Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are probably my favorite games of all time.

My faverite nintendo series would have to be zelda its been around for eons and it will continue to be around for eons, You have great charicters put together with a great story and a magnificiantly designed game. I have spent hours playing many of the zelda games beating them over and over again, one of the few games that i can pick up after beating it and play it over and over again.
