lol i think i've gotten 1 shiny and of course the red gyrados in G/S/C 
other than that nope never caught anyone of them. i don't remember the shiny i got but yea i know i got one somehwere nad i think it was in sapphire or ruby....

I have a shiny Gyradoas and Moltres. Though I still don't know how I found a wild Moltres.

Not including the shiny Gyrados I got on Gold version, I've found a shiny Absol, a shiny Whismur, a shiny Electrike, a shiny Persian (Well, I didn't find the Persian. My Cousin traded it to me in exchange for a shiny Rapidash. And I never pass up on a chance for a Persian!), I've also got a shiny Corsola and Beautifly.

That was so funny, my first time when I end pk leaf green and get a ho-oh was a shiny!

Well. I have played diffrent pokemon games for 20 hours long, but I never have seen a shiny pokemon. Anways, I haeard it's like 5000 in 1 for you to see one.

the only real advantage is that shiney ones get more exp in battles. Other then that, they just look kool.but my favorite would probably be deoxys... or mew. Mew looks so wierd all blue instead of pink.

When you download, platform-specific DPs are used first.
DPs can be spent by using some platform-specific DPs and some global DPs.

I saw, and caught of course, a shiny venonat, i've also seen a shiny tauros but it was not on my gba i justhappened to be around while a friend was playing. My venonat looked really cool!

I got a shiny Unown once in Silver. I'm still looking in FRLG and Emerald. There was a shiny Pokemon from my Blue version though according to Stadium 2 but I forgot what it was.

I managed to see and catch a Nidorina. But there was no real differnce between that and the other one I was training. Thats the only one i've seen in my 2 years of pokemon playing.
