I caught a few, don't remember the exact amount. I never cared if a Pokémon was shiny or not as long as it does what I ask it to do.

Lol, i met and caught a shiny Tentacruel even though my cousin already caught 39 tentacruels and tentacools in my Crystal version

ive seen a shiny chansy and graveller.. ran away from graveller.. at the time i was like gotta get to e4 ...and chanseys well a dog...i did catch oddish, piidey and geodude shinies though.. all fully evolved.. oddish is now a bellasom

I had hacked my game so all Pokemon I caught were shiny. Pink Kyogre was creepy. I really liked black rayquaeza.

Besides the Red Gyarados in Silver (That I killed... BWUAHAHAA) 
, I just caught a Shiny Marrill in Emerald a few weeks ago, was shocked, My pichu had just hatched, so I went out to get a single lvl for it after maxing out its happiness, killed a marrill, pichu evolved, was on way home and encountered it 
almost hada heart attack. I sadly cloned it (Only once ) and evolved one into shiny azumarill, just to see what It looked like

Caught a shiny Electrike, caught a shiny Baltoy. Saw a shiny Zigzagoon on a rom, killed it because it's ugly.

in pokemon sapphire i saw and of course also caught only 2 shiny pokemon: a shiny wingull (which has green wings) and a shiny mightyena (gold instead of black). B)
