It seems to much like SC from what the previews showed. And they changed the names of most of the units just because their abilities are different, which is the most idiotic thing ever. Like the Protoss would have just decided "Hey, let's just change the names of everything for fun!"

Two things come to mind; I want to move to Korea and the Koreans have no lives. Not that its a bad thing....I don't.Gaming's a huge industry in Korea. Starcraft matches are constantly broadcast on TV over there. There was actually a massive Warcraft thing a couple of months ago. WC3's best players were there. One of my mates who's teaching English over there visited and had a great time.
A press release said that it will not come out this year.When is the new starcraft gonna come out?

blizzard said they've been working on it for 4 years, just after the release of frozen throne(warcraft III), it looks awesome, can't wait.

well broodwar part would be the 2nd..and many ppl do consider it that, but broodwar is only an expansion so..hopefully they do make a starcraft 2 that would be so fun

Anyone excited? I am for sure, I've looked at some of the videos on www.youtube.com and the gameplay sure looks great, I love how they kept the same style/feeling SC1 has and just basically made it better!

but brood war have good balances, good graphics, good gaming...bleh... liar... no good gaming.. have some delay when using like shift... thats really bad and graphics... puff... u know.. a 1995 game(im not sure)well we are in 2007 ...time for starcraft2! oops! starcraft 3 sounds more better :)i will waiting for u my dear starcraft... blizzard... do ur best..

the expansion set starcraft brood war was very good and now with the continuation of the epic saga is going to be a great game. The new features are so cool the new zealots, stalkers, the mothership, fenix, warp rays, zerglings and inmortals.

Mmmm i cant wait for this release, watched the game play trailer and it is nice, not going to heavy on the graphics upgrades for ez-mass units

new units, and if only Blizzard would release new unit specs of the other races (non-toss).hmm, since they've got a Ghost's own game, imagine Blizzard making a movie of a dark templar. I bet it'll be cool! heh

Yup, and the trailers are pretty cool! Starcraft 2 will have a whole bunch of new features, and hopefully new races that you can play. But no matter what, I will stick with the protoss if theyre still alive, because man, they are just unbelievably strong!

The website keeps on making my Firefox act funny. Anyway, maybe they're playing tricks on my eyes, but the new Starcraft seems a bit...shinier and blue. This could be because they're only showing off the Protoss units. I'll decide whether or not to buy it AFTER they unveil all the features >=/That Phase Prism does look nifty, though. It'll make the Protoss much more agile, and perhaps more capable of defending against a zerg rush

On the official site, there are only Protoss units/structures shown - which means that either blizz has only Protoss units created, or they dont want to show everything now. But from what ive seen on the site and on Blizzard's official gameplay video - if Zergs and Terrans will be extended as much as Toss race then SC2 will no doubt be great game. I still fear about the game balance when i see actual changes to Protoss. They should show something about Z&T so i wont be afraid anymore :PBut from my experience Blizz will do great job. They always do

For some reason I have yet to beat the computer..But I kick donkey on Bnet.Starcraft 2 will be a disappointment to some but for alot it will be real good.To tell you the truth I think the battles will never be as good as Starcraft & Broodwar.They seem to be reduced alittle and in my opinion everything has been balanced to work out a little too fine..what I mean is like something can only counter something else..What happened to goons and arbiters?Or Rines and medics?You will no longer need two units to take out one thing...My point is made clear in the demo vids..How nothing can touch the tanks but those damn things..
