They really do need to put a realease date on it. from what i've seen though, the only race that actually got a lot better is terrans.

Seeing new videos that have come out, everyone has to admit that StarCraft 2 will come out an awesome game.Awesome graphics, new units, and new styles of strategy available has totally revamped StarCraft and will in no doubt blow the minds of StarCraft players around the world.Hope it comes out soon. o.O

Starcraft 1 was the best game on PC at the time it was made and still is very loved in most parts of the world, so that leaves a huge shoe to fill with starcraft 2 but Blizzard has never let me down with a game before (other then WOW) so this time they should hit gold again.

At my local gamestop they have it available for preorder already..release date was early-mid December 2008. I must go back and place the darn order.

Protoss wasn't really overpowered, depends on the skill of the gamer. Although so far, it looks like protoss will be over powered in Starcraft 2. Can't wait to see all the Zerg units though =D.

So far all the units are looking awesome, and protoss wasn't that overpowered, a skilled zerg or terran player could own them if they tried.

I highly doubt the zerg. 2 templars with psionic storm could easily take out 20 zerglings if placed right. Maelstorm stops the ultralisks.Mind Control if needed. Not sure about terran, never used them much except the vulture rush.

As a Terran player, I'm awesomely excited by the lineup.Transformers, robots in disguise..And the supply depot blocking technique is now official.Psionic storm was the only thing close to imbalance in the old one, but.. Didn't bother me.

In fact, I didn't like the first one...I followed the development (station17.com...was it that ?

) and was deceived...I bought it the day it went out...and played a couple of days....max ! The Blizzard game I played the less.....Still, I'm awaiting this impatiently ! :mellow:Same mistake a second time ? We'll see !

the banelings are worrying me,back then a psionic storm is enough to reduce the lings to relatively harmless number, but now we have to deal with exploding green ball of death?great!, and nydus worms work as transport.... great, so a nydus worm filled with banelings unloading in the middle of a fight =??and what the hell is with the hydralisk killing battlecruisers like flies?, 2 dozen hydralisks i can understand but 6??? SIX hydralisk killing a battlecruiser in less than half a minute? the hell?yeah, they were right... the game has a LOOONNGG way to go in balancing.
