an update... blizzard's been giving rumors about a new game.. maybe SC2. let's hope it is, i wish the excellent game balance won't be taken off on the sequel. still love star craft 2. been playing it for about a decade! hahaha!

Last year, Blizzard cancelled the production of Starcraft: Ghost due to problems with staff. They are currently working on Starcraft 2 instead.

I don't think Blizzard will make World Of Starcraft because it might destroy WoW and that is not good for Blizz.Anyway I hope Starcraft 2 will come.And at that day I will have a party for sure.

I would like to withdraw that comment. It seems StarCraft: Ghost hasn't officially been cancelled, although it HAS been postponed more than half a dozen times.Last year, Blizzard cancelled the production of Starcraft: Ghost due to problems with staff. Lets hope Ghost won't end up like Duke Nukem Forever. If there will be starcraft 2 the prime baddy will most likely be Arcturus Mengsk since there are no more zergs and the protoss are busy recovering.

I bloody hope so!!! Starcraft is one of the oldest games out there still widely played, Blizzard should get their heads out of WOW and realize that everyone wants them to make a sequel. Diablo 3 is a whole other issue >.>

Starcraft 2 would be awesome, but if they were to announce it we still wouldn't see it for a while. Blizzard is too slow! Anyone hear played SC:Ghost yet, i've been wanting to since 02'.

This game has pretty much guaranteed a dent in my wallet when it comes out.The Protoss mothership looks cheap as hell.

If there were WC3 style heroes in SC, I would stab Blizzard with a blunt fork.Yes, rather than stabbing their employees, I'd go and stab their company building... :-|But yeah, my blood pressure must've gone up when I saw "Starcraft II." I was like screaming "YESSS" in my brain or something <_>

This game looks so sweet. The cinematics are amazing. It felt like a good animated movie. This game makes me want to save more money, and buy a better computer, so I can play this game.

I love Starcraft. I loved the original. I loved the expansion. I hate this. Starcraft II looks more like a Warcraft mod than an actual Starcraft game. I hate how they used the WoW models for the units. It just looks tacky. I guess Blizzard has turned into a company full of profit-wh***ing b****es.

I loved the original Starcraft and when I read about Starcraft 2 I was really excited. Can't wait til it comes out. :PFigures they announce it in Korea, it's the Starcraft capital of the world.

I once saw screenshots on GameRevolution and the game title was "World of Starcraft" and it looked like it would be an MMO like WoW. It was a long time ago, but I wonder if they'll actually make such a game. A starcraft MMORPG doesn't attract me, tough. I'm fine with stabbing the building with a blunt fork if that happens.

I bet that's an April Fool joke. Blizzard's not going to do Starcraft MMORPG in this 5 years to come. They are busy with WoW, and the coming Hellgate:London. And congrats for Blizzard to finally announcing Starcraft 2. I guess the Starcraft community will be joyous than ever. Some units never make its way to SC2. They have been replaced with new units, which I find not really compelling. I just hope that it would work fine, and not some craps thrown by the crews of Blizzard. Theres tons of videos and news out about ST2. It should be awesome, graphics are great, new units, seems even more fnu the the first one.
