did not get to play any of the BOF in PS but the ones on SNES were great~!!

breath of fire 5 was called dragon quarter on the ps2, but yeah i liked them all except the first one because it was to simple for me when i played it on the gba. Spoiled on materia systems and skill learning rpgs

all the games in the series real good besides 4... although i hated the timed game in BOF5.. i dont like bein rushed to beat a game

On the contrary I liked 4 the most. Maybe it's because of the main villan, whom I'd like to be the main charater. And the 'evil' ending was soo sweet...

I'm playing 3 and 4 right now. Both have good graphic. BOF4 has good storyline while I like the part in BOF3 where the charater grow up and have a change in animation. The dragon animation is nice in BOF3 too.they need a little bit of development, like weapon animation( change when you get a new weapon) and some romance (like Ryu and Nina 
)I don't like BOF5 due to the time system, I think most people would agree, RPGs are meant to be enjoyed , not rushed.

breath of fire 3 was the best so far still need to play bof4, dragon quarters sucked donkey purely for the whole timed thing reminds me of resident evil a little hmmm interesting

it became famous on SNES, so it is very interesting and I suggest u should play it. THere are ports to the GBA but the graphics are not that good, story nice tho

i love the snes versions.. but i was quite disgraceful with da psx versions... it was not even compared to snes version in gameplay, i prefer snes, and i ve not tried the one for ps2

I played Breath of Fire 2 on Snes and Breath of Fire on GBA. I liked the series.

I like all BOF series.I've been playing BOF since it came out on SNES, PS1, and PS 2.BUT, i must say...the BOF:dragon Quarter, is so dead! it sucksit's not BOF series i think...it lost the identity...sad

I never played dragon quarter mainly because i don't have a ps2. i liked 3 the most because of all the different dragon combonations and because of how cool the dragons looked. i liked 4 especialy the fou lou parts but i didn't like the whole speed of the game. i never plyed 1 but 2 would be a close 2nd on my list.

Breath of Fire shot itself in the back after dragon quarter, and after 3-4 it looked like it was going in the right direction. a lot like the suikoden series after 2-3.
