BoF is one of my favorite series. I love 5, but it's such a departure from the rest of the series and has one of the best battle systems of any RPG, imo.Other then that I'd have to say 3 is my favorite, w/ 4 comming in close. 4 would be better if it wasn't a tile based walking system. plus everything seemed so cluttered and claustraphobic, other then that it was great

The BoF series was and still is great I have completed 1,2,4 and 5 2 and 4 have to be my personel favouritesbut i've yet to play 3 coz a didnt have an original PS1 and carnt find 3 any were but if some cud tell me a good site to download it from I would be eternally greatfull :cheers:

Played all except the 3rd... I didn't like the 5th very much, though... too many changes. And environments were poor.

I only played BOF4. It had one of the best art i have ever seen, definitely a must play for the PS. I like the grass dragon, hehe.

I've played BOF3, but never beated it, the furthest I got was after meeting the tiger guy after Ryu is an adult..that's all I can remember.

I'm a huge BOF fan, although part two was a little hard for me to stomach, its a great series and I love the whole dragon transformation thing I loved the original on the SNES, its my personal fav.

Breath Of Fire 3 and 4 were AWESOME!! But the change brought by the PS2 prevents me from playing Dragon Quarter so far. There it sits on a pile of DVDs begging to be played. But it's way too different from 3/4. It's like an entirely other game.

Even though i only played Breath of Fire IV. I still liked it. It was really good too bad it ended. hopefully some other games similar to this one would come out more in rpg of course.

Breath of Fire 1 was kinda boring, if you ask me. I never really liked it. BoF 2 however, was quite beautiful, if incredibly unbalanced(sometimes in your favor, sometimes in the emenies favor). Breath of Fire 3, its become synonymous with awesome, thats all there is to say. Breath of Fire 4 was also quite great, great storylline, amazing graphics. I hated Dragon Quarter when I played it, then decided later that I actually enjoyed it, but was being an donkey. And now I'm confused entirely on the subject.

i've played only bof III and IV but i never got around to beating any of them. was kinda neat how u can combine differently to make different dragons tho

I really liked BOF3 it was one of the great games, I specially liked how you could form different dragon type by using differnt gene combinations. I though BOF4 was good, but wasn't what I was expecting, hoping that they would of kept the BOF3 dragon system. BOF5 was decent, my only complaint is that couldn't use the dragon form most of the time if you wanted to actually beat the game.

I played them all, but BoF 3 of PS was my favorite one, i didnt like BoF4, i found the storyline... boring... but BoF1 is a classic, although some parts were kinda hard to get with graphics and translations, i still love it. I remember being a kid and playing it... memories *tear* * cough * *cough* besides from that, its an awesome series... never passed dragon quater though cause I lost it about 2 weeks after I bought it and didnt want to get it again.

I still have all the BoF's except V for the PS2, BoF III is by far the great of all of them. I loved this game to death. Awesome variety of characters. Peco is the greatest character ever.

I have played Breath of Fire 4, and was absolutely enamorated with it. The music, gameplay and overall feel was magnificent.
