the BoF series is a really good series. I've beaten 1,2, and 3. All really good games.

Breath of Fire is one of my favorite series. I loved 1-4, but Dragon Quarter was just kind of bleh. I finished it but most likely will not play it again, unlike the others that I go back and replay every couple of years.

I think Ryu and Nina should always be in the BOF games. Those two are what makes it sweet.

Breath of Fire III was the first game I played of the series, and my most favorite game of the series. I defiently liked the fact that you play as a dragon as a good guy, where in most games you just fight them, and always they are usaully evil.

Breath of fire 3, although I like the secret weapon of breath of fire 4 I still vote for three.I still have not got the Goo Sword x.x

My Favorite BoF game has got to be #3. I liked it better than Number IV because when Ryu accends he actually becomes the dragon, in four he turns into that warrior type every time and then when you use a dragon attack he changes to that dragon, attacks, and then changes back to the warrior.I also liked the character models in Breath of Fire III a lot better as well.And the story is much more interesting in my opinion.

to me both of the BOF games for ps were kinda disapoiting but id hafto go with 3 because he actually looks sumwhat like a dragon in 3, while in 4 he still looks like a person -_- kinda stupid

4 was awesome, although it started out a bit too slow. The graphics were lovely, and it was pretty cool to play as the main protagonist and the main antagonist during the game.3 was so-so.

BOF 4 was awesome as Hell!!!! you could do DNA surgery to create new and powerfull dragons

I loved 4. Everything about it. I think it's the cumlination of traditional RPGs. 3, is fun, but it doesn't stand the test of time.5 is also great. It took some big risks and I think it sucseeds because of them. Most people can't get into it though. It's pretty demanding.

I've played them all, including that horrible excuse to the series Dragon Quater, and BoF 2 is my favorite hands down. I think BoF 3 would be a close 2nd, because I love Momo.

I never got very far in BoF III - So I have to say 2, just because 1 was a little too "old-school" for my taste. Plus, 2 had some wicked cool charecters.
