I love the GBA games. Personally...most of the games on the newer systems suck. The developers concentrate entirely too much upon the graphical aspect of the game and not the story. In a GBA game, they concentrate on the story. You can't really beat GBA games, they're fun, enjoyable, and portable.

Of course. There are plenty of great GBA games out there (Yoshi's Island, Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, Advanced Wars, Pokemon for those that like that kind of stuff, etc.) and in addition the new console, the DS, is pretty cool and backwards compatible, so yeah, FF1-6 are always options.

i still play gba games but its getting hard to find games that are fun cause theres not gunna be any new releases to the gba games.
