It has better graphics. Not only because it was released in an age where technology evolved, but because the screen resolution is smaller. (also, there are new ways of making 3d graphics to look cleaner and "better" than N64's days)Try seeing a DS game in N64 screen resolution, and you'll notice N64's are better looking.

Considering the NDS has a mini-screen, I'd say the N64 has better graphics.

I dont think so personally i have always thought n64 produced superior graphics

Yeah NDS defininetly doesnt have better grahpics than n64. NDS is more comparable to PS1 or Sega Saturn.... but not 64

im pretty sure ps1 had better grpahics than n64. therefore your sentence makes no sense

Look at Yoshi's nose on Mario 64 DS and compare it to Mario's on the N64. Notice how much difference there is? (in case you still don't notice, its the DS that has better graphics)

the NDS has better graphics because its newer technology than the 64

Just because it has newer technology doesn't mean it has better graphics necessarily.I mean WiFi alone is newer technology than the N64, and it doesn't even produce graphics on its own >.<But the NDS does have some mad Graphics, I don't think FF3 would have 3-Dimensional dudes taking the world by storm.

I could answer in one word but that would get me minus points. yes though. You can clearly see that the graphics are better on the DS. I think the hardware is more advanced to say the least.

I think that graphic difference depends on games.

Most of the time, the graphics on the DS is far better than the N64. It all depends on what games you're looking at, though. Some games have GBA-quality style graphics whilst others don't have a comparison.Take the Castlevania game. It looks much better than the GBA version, but there isn't a single N64 game of the same calibre to compare the two with. How can you compare Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, with any N64 game if none of them were 2D platformers with cartoon-style graphics?Meteos has some pretty good cutscene graphics, which were nearly of Gamecube quality. They were very good.
