Storyline is a fundamental piece of a well-constructed RPG.

Just being able to have a character and control him/her is awesomeAnd then of course the storyline. The more exciting the world the better

storyline all the way! gameplay second and then MAYBE graphics in third. i figure if the story is good enough, it can make up for other faults in a game.

I think storyline is important but without good gameplay it turns out to be not as good as you expected

whatt realy attracts me to rpgs is the battlle system. IF THE SYTEM IS TO COMPLICATED SUCH AS fable 2 it takes the classic feel out the game. I preffer turnbased and ttactics. like the final fantasy series.

I would go for good community, gameplay, and whether or not its a grind fest or not.

Overall, these elements add together to decide how 'into' a game I end up being...But since I had to vote for one, I went with graphics. As a hobby artist, I'm quite visual and if the graphics are completely crap, it wouldn't matter to me if the storyline was the best ever. I just couldn't make it through it.

It's a combination of storyline and side quests. It makes the game a lot longer and makes me feel like I got my moneys worth. I need new experiences in games, I can't stand repetitive games (minus classic games).

Good storyline will always be at the top of my list, and then to differentiate further, I'll choose the game with the better graphics.

RPGs should have a good battle system, because if not,it isn't much of a good RPG game at all.
