It was Final Fantasy VII, No wonder i got addicted to RPG's for a long while.

FF8 was my first RPG, it was the game that got me hooked on gaming actually.

My first RPG... not sure, for PS1 it was FF7 definately, but first ever? I think it was... Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars n.n

FFVIII, believe it or not I used to hate RPG's with a passion and than one day my bro forced me to play Final Fantasy VIII. Needless to say it changed my view on RPGs and now I own a quite large collection lol

First ever was Final FantasyOn the PS, it was Final Fantasy 7, was also the reason I switched from Nintendo.

My first one on PSX was I think FFIX, but I don't own that. First PSX/PS2 one I owned was FFX-2 or Dark Cloud 2. My first one EVER was either Secret Of Mana or Lufia. I don't remember.

My first psx RPG was Threads of Fate. A good game, but the graphics kinda sucked. It was like the N64 revisited. But Starlight Duke made up for that.

I forgot whether it was Final Fantasy VI (or III) or Super Mario RPG on the SNES. but on the PSX, it was Final Fantasy Tactics (or was it FFVII? ^^; )

final fantasy VII was my first rpg on any system. it really got me into the genre and not its my favorite
