My first RPG was FF8... I played it when I was younger because my older cousin had it. Then for a birthday present he gave me FFVII and FFVIII, woohoo B)

Final Fantasy VII was the very first one that I played. The next one after that was Xenogears. And I have yet to play a better combination of games.

My first one was FFVII and it kind of sucks because nothing has ever close to being as good.

First PSX rpg I ever played was the blazing disappoint known as Kings Field. It was a first person rpg similar to the Ultima Underworlds. I think it might have been the first rpg game to be released in north america on the psx at the time so there wasn't much else to choose from.

Like one of the previous posters, I'd have have to say it was either Final Fantasy I or Zelda I.. I'm probably a tad older than some of the other users. I have to admit, I grin when I read that someone's first role playing game was final fantasy 7, or 10. ( a good grin though, not a spiteful one!) Nonetheless, I am thrilled that people are playing rpgs period, as opposed to games like grand theft auto, or halo.. Thats my "two cents" though. Everyone is entitled to have their own cup of tea!

First RPG I ever played was Earthbound. I am proud to say that I got it when it first came out and am therefore not responsible for Nintendo's current reluctance to bring any more Mother titles to the States.The first RPG I ever beat, however, was Skies of Arcadia. That too was quite an experience, partly because Ramirez is one of the cooler villains in any RPG out there (especially in his first form).

My first RPG was Final fantasy 7.... Funy things is my mom bought me the PLaystaion for christmas and just randomly picked a game....I'm lucky right? Thaks mom...I'm hooked on FF now, I've watched Advent Children (in japanese) like elevety times...lol

final fantasy 3 for SNES. FF7 just doesn't compare to FF3.

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was my very first RPG (*hangs head in shame*). Yeah yeah, laugh all you want. :-P I was about 12 when I got it, and I thought it was the best thing in the world... until I played FF4 (FF2 in the U.S.)
