my first love was Suikoden [i was drooling on it in a magazine]my first few tries was with FFVII around 1-4hrs topsmy first played RPG was FFVIIIwhile my favorite is Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth

My first RPG ever was Legend of Zelda(NES, since it had an exp bar) first real one was FF7, then eight, favorite was nine. FF7 was still one of the best rpgs I've played so far over the years and will always be my first.

Mine was Dragon Warrior as well. Nintendo Power gave it away free if you got a two-year subscription which everyone I know took advantage of. Obviously it was the first major RPG back then so it was a new experience for everyone.Stevo

I dont know if I posted this already but my first RPG was FF8. Man I loved that game. I was like 7 and that game complicated me thoruoghly. I still beat it though.

I began with DQII; which had me hooked to the extent that it blacked out one year from my precious childhood. Then moved to the other DQ titles (I, III, IV); before FF seemed to gain pace so I tried that out. After that - I guess there're too many RPGs out there to name.
