KH3 has a very good chance of coming out because the old KH and KH2 have sold very sucessfully.

The rumor I heard was that it was going to take place during the events of KH2, which kinda leaves one to wonder who the main character would be and what kind of story line it would be following

YES THERE WILL BE. im positive there will be a KH3 if you dont think so then you havent seen the special ending to KH2, theres obviously going to be a KH3! im guessing that the three knights are SORA RICKU AND KIREY! if you look closely there is two boys one girl and on top of it all they all pick the keyblad that belongs to them. im willing to put money on it that the three knigts are the two. as for the surrounding keyblades i think that signifys that those all belong to other keyblade weilders and there probably to sides to the war and the split in the key blades shows that. the three heros are in the middle of the war and are probably going to get split up. i bet that vaan is going to be in it along with the main character from FF9

DUDE IT BETTER cause it leaves u to wonder what that letter is at the ending. im still willing to beat that the THREE knights are SORA RICKU AND KIREY check out the trailer here. this is a trailor in japan for KH3, .I think that on one site it said the next kingdom hearts wasn't going to be based on the main storyline...

o read an artical on kingdom hearts 2 secret ending and the developer left it open for many things. He didn't say too much but he did say that those 3 were not kairi riku or sora. i think it was leaning towards the history of the keyblades, like i understand sora is the blades master now but who had it before? Or who is the real king of the keyblades, this story could be a prequel or a sequel far down the line having nothing to do with sora besides the fact that he was a keyblade master. He said that for now he(the developer) doesn't even know where this is gonna go, and he is just gonna leave it up to the imagination, cause they aren't going to be working on kingdom hearts 3 for some time cause they are working on another project, but rest assured the ps3 will be seeing a sequel!

i see your point but then how will they finish the story between cloud and sephy? i think that im kinda right and yet im wrong. i dont think its almost sure its not a prequel because the blades are all rusted and on top of that they pick them up where they left them at the end of kh2 you cant ignore that. oh im sure there will be a sequel and im sure that it will come out by the time i have kids. cause there going to make this one a major game for not just kh fans but all gamerso read an artical on kingdom hearts 2 secret ending and the developer left it open for many things. They can't just stop at KH2. It leaves such a bad taste in our mouths at the end for it just to end. It would like making Star Wars ep. 4 and 5, but not 6. :-P~Joseph

i think that there is gonna be a KH3 reasons:three guy standing on a keyblade field(KH2 secret ending)new Disney world and updates for ex:pirate of the carribean:dead man chest,ETC

Disney seems to be fading out of the Kingdom Hearts universe... At least to me. >_>Seriously, just take a look at Organization XIII and that whole schpiel with Roxas, Riku, etc. Kingdom Hearts 2 screams Final Fantasy so darned much.

who knows if there is going to be a kh3 but if there is how would they do the storyline, personally I think they finished it off with kh2

its kinda early to talk about kh3(sunset horizons) but it would be nice if it came out nxt year but it wont since kh2 haven't came out in a long time till this year. check www.gamespot.com there is 1 guide where they talk about the plotscant wait keyblade warz the 3 AU's well its worth waitin for the story lines good.

I think that there is going to be a KH3, but for the PS3. So we should be expecting some news (if any at all) at around about the middle of next year I'm guessing. ^^

i saw the little preview thing for KH3 after on youtube and they were just a bunch of people that i dont think have to do with like sora. anywayz it would have to be a totally different story so im not sure wat they would put as the plot
