the way the cards look when they r summoned and yugioh is much better. My other friends think tht Duel Master is kewl and it is better thn yugioh. I just wnt to see wut everybody

My first anime was actually Sailor Moon, but at the time I didn't realise that it was literally called anime and I was watching it on TV. I didn't start seriously getting into anime until last year and I only started getting into manga recently.

First anime... I have no clue. Probably something into the 80's. I was born in Asia, so anime are pretty much the only kids stuff available.

my mum buyd me a video about a girl in a orange suit and she was some android ore whatever and it was anime style dont know the name of the movie anymore too bad

Hm...I started with Magic Knight Rayearth. A friend got me into it since she got a lot of imported tapes from Japan. I think that was in 6th grade....Haha, yeah, I'm a late bloomer.

Although i had no idea at the time that they were animes, I watched the original Transformers and Voltron. In elementary I got into the popular shows of the time: Pokemon, Digimon, and DBZ. After that there was a big gap. My PC became too old to keep up with constant new games so with no games left to play I had to find something else to occupy myself when I was bored. Thats when my friend introduced me to Naruto and from there my love for anime spread.

Pia Carrot 3.... now now... i know what you're thinking... isn't pia carrot a game not appropriate for all ages? yea well i'll tell you what. even though it was pia carrot, doesn't mean i knew what it was at the time. my friend just showed me a wallpaper, beautifully dun, yes it was appropriate for all ages that wallpaper. and that just made me go

i think i started with pokemon too... pioneer batch of pokemon watchers!!! haha... axn-asia helped alot too but it was only march of this year that really got me hooked on anime and manga... it just suddenly hit me like 'hey... anime is fun'... haha.... ive been on a manga reading/anime watching spree since then...

Well, I did see Pokemons (not dbz...i hate those), enjoyed the first season (which I still consider as decent), but that didn't introduce me to animes. Those were more like typical cartoons. The first anime I watched has to be lain, now that broke all my stereotypes of anime being strictly for children, so I could explore more beauties that anime has to offer.

I saw Dragon Ball when I was 8 (that's 14 years ago) and then DBZ when I was 14. That was pretty much the "gateway" anime, then I saw Ranma 1/2 and Cowboy Bebop.

I first got into anime by watching Sailor Moon. Sailor Moon is one of my all time favorite shows, animated or otherwise. I also loved Project A-Ko.
