I first started watching animes like pokemon, digimon and DBZ as a kid, but i never really considered it to be anime at the time, only cartoons. I really got into anime when i started watching shows on friday nights like escaflowne or witch hunter robin.

I'm not exactly sure if it was Dragon Ball Z or Sailor Moon (I blame my brother for that one... 'sides, there wasn't much on anyhow...).

When i was young i saw my cousin watching Naruto and thought their eyes are so cute 
so i tried watching Naruto. I usually watch anime depending on the way their drawn and how their eyes look, yeah i know it's pretty weird but oh well

mine was probably Sailor Moon. it used to air everyday when I was really little, then after that it was Dragonball, then InuYasha, and so on and so on...

My first anime was Cardcaptor Sakura, my aunt showed me this anime on tv. Then Naruto the first that makes me addict to watch animes.

GTO and Love Hina must've been the animes that really stuck. At least they were the ones I watched before I started getting horribly obsessed with anime.There was a stage where i liked anime, but wasn't that into it...then all the sudden I've seen over 50 series in a span of 2 years

For me it was the quality of the animation. It was soo much better than most American animation. Plus there was alot more action and story.

as far as i can remember..i got into it by picking up a vhs in the rental store as a small kid...i think it was Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets)but the more i tink about it ... it might have actually been Lensmanafter that.. i thought it was so cool then watched more.. like voltronand eventually got into Robotech/Macross and i am still into that to this day!

I all started back with robotech and transformers... later, a girl in my 3rd grade class wore a sailor moon shirt and i found out it was on tv and watched alot after that... and a girl i had a crush on all through grade school was an anime lover so i grew to be one... plus in 5th, pokemon became huge and everyone was into that at my school... for the most part... and my best friend was an anime lover as well...

Ever since I saw Dragon ball. It was different from all the rest of American cartoons. 5 years later I got cable so I was able to watch any anime they had on toonami. So once I found out what anime really was.. I got addicted. This only happened after I got T1.. anime on dial up is almost impossible. They also have crappy anime on Toonami these days anyway.

Fist Anime:Pokemon and Im very proud of it because, then Inuyasha, DB, full metal Alchemist, Death Note, Naruto, (i also like Avatar but it is american Anime) cameBut basically it was DB because I saw a few episodes before I like it
