I First got into the anime world when digimon was being air on FOX...then I moved and Got satellite. I didn't have FOX but I switched to cartoon network and watched DBZ...Dragon Ball Z and Adultswims shows got me into this world...which I have never left. HAHAHAHaha

it started off when i was a kid and i saw dragon ball z and i loved it and it got me hooked on anime

Saw it on TV....Adult Swim to be exact. I would watch Yuyu Hakusho and other stuff like Rurouni Kenshin

My first anime was Transformer G2 (probably help me got me into mecha anime). When I was young, I didn't know what anime was. But I kept watching because I love Cartoons. After Transformers G2, I've watched these anime (note by that time, I didn't know what anime was):G-Force: Guardian of Space (now it's called Gatachaman, probably explain why Power Ranger is almst like that)Robotech: Another mecha anime, I watched it when I was like 7 or 8 years old.Sailor Moon: I fell in love with this anime, I still didn't knew what anime was.Akira: this movie I knew wasn't for kid, but I still watch it because it was a cartoon.The one above I didn't know it was an anime until I found out. Here are the anime that got me into the anime fad and made me look back at the anime when I was a little kid:Pokemon: A great anime and pop culture to got me into anime. I love the game also.Digimon: I love this anime also.Monster Rancher: Love this monster pet anime also.Flint the Time Detective: A great anime for my ageDragonball and DragonballZ: a great anime for martial arts fan.Since after I watch Pokemon and Dragonball Z, I started to find out anime. I had a book explaining to me about anime. It gave me an example of anime and their history. It even tell me about Sailor Moon, Robotech, and Akira are Japanese animation and I didn't know it until I read the book about Asian culture. I was always an anime fan since I didn't know what an anime was when I was little. I'm still a loyal anime fan now and then.

Hmmm My first was probably Sailor moon closely followed by Pokemon. I used to watch it on TV before School as A Kid. I used to watch Shaman king all the time so My dad used to know That I liked that kinda stuff. Then when I was 11 I went onto forums and everyone was talking about Naruto, so I mentioned it to my dad and he got me the first episode, I watched I liked And ever scine I have been watching anime. Heck Even My Dad watches some Naruto with me

My first animes were My neighbor Totoro, Battle Angel Alita and Mermaid Scar. I rented those from blockbuster at a very young age. I was also a fan of sailor moon, dragonball z, gundamwing, outlaw star, watching those on cartoon network and working my way into japanese animes. I was also a big fan of jpop and such. Hm.. I was probably about 7 or 8.

i'd have to confess that it was definitely Pokémon and CardCaptors that did it for me... and I suppose Digimon in it's own way. Though I didn't fully understand the concept of Anime until like grade seven when my best friend taught me the trade.
