If you ask me it doesn't really need online play. It's got (some) good downlooadable content anyway, and being able to play with friend would tke away from the role-playing experience.

oblivion was developed for 1 player, so that they could maximize the 1 player everything experience, personally in the elder scrolls 5, if theres going to be 1 they should bring unarmored and further more the should have horse races you can compete in.

Having it online would ruin it. An arena function would be nice and all, but it just wouldn't work. There would always be a point where somebody would glitch to get a better character. It would work well, if they made it so when you went the arena you had so many points to chose equipment and spells to fight. A seperate PvP character with ranks like on other games.

Where did you hear that? I was thinking of getting Two Worlds, but my brother who has played it says it doesn't compare. But either way, online is nice.um two worlds is going to have that two worlds is better then elder scrolls 4 as of right now

i agree if u are on live u should be able 2 go on privet rooms witrh ur friends wat do u guys think of marriowind is it fun or just 2 long and boring?

they'll probly add that in eventually, instead of making it mmo it'll just be a dueling type thing though. they announced they didn't want to be MMO.

I think it would be great, just very hard to function. If they could make the story online it'd be great. Just alert all gamers when the line up for a war will take place and things like that. I've been wanting Elder Scrolls online for a long time, I just don't think they want to invest the time into it.

It would be cool to have it online, get a nice little party going, start a riot in Bravil (hometown hero!) It has potential, but they'd have to do it right.

Maybe something like a gladiator mode, but don't include the computer players because I've seen how they can mod stuff. It is truly ridiculous.

lol if they did that, you would go in and think this is nice........ and then BAM, the whole thing frezzez and your modem and 360 explodesPOINTS were deducted for this post by DownShiftPlease refer to the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.I think that they should put a live function on Oblivion so that you could go with your frinds in a private room and duel or something like that would be cool.

they do they should have made an amazing oblivion with online with guns omg an buy ur own ship and recruit people from the quests u did and u have to pay them and u rob cities but the city and they automatically revive everything u stole or killed tht will be amazing !! reply me back!i hoped for it too but its gonna be massy

a live capability with oblivion would be amazing, but i'm sure that'd take forever to make, plus it'd be ridiculously hard to maintain and it'd probably be really laggy.

My friend and I discussed this, but there would be several things they'd have to change to balance it. For example, I would tank with over 100% damage reflection resulting in my enemies dying before me!

That would be awsome but they would have to add a whole lot more content for me to buy it fot online otherwise i'd stick to WoW.
