Sephiroth was the best final boss, the rest aren't like his, and i liked his songs on FF 7.

have people just forgotten about metal gear solid? i dunno i didnt bother to read the 19 pages of this, bt i do have to say that the whole boss fight takes a good while on normal and some extreme skills and luck on the hardest setting

FF8 ultimecia and griever (odd looking pair both off em and some attack that does always the amount off dammage wich brings your down to...well...1

Omega (or something) from FF9. He wasn't a compulsory boss, but he was super strong. he could pile in 3 moves at once, and could cast Curaga, which healed about 5000 hp, and also Curse, which causes all bad status to you.

Ok, I can't remember the name exactly, but you know the boss at the end of SaGa Frontier 2? Meh God.... he killed me. He just would not die! Ofcourse he came along with a very nice battle theme so, that evened things out.Em... Sephiroth was enjoyable to beat up because of his battle theme actually. Love that track! *gets tomatos thrown at her*

(If we're talking about the best 'looking' final boss though, it has to be the boss (I'm not going to mention his name in case I spoil the game for anybody) from Suikoden III!

[Not that one got to look at him during the fight. Only an ugly rune! ^_^

Chrono Trigger!!I loved that battle with the final boss. First time through took me 30 mins of attacking and healing. It was so much fun. I had the original for the SNES

I know it is cliche, but Sepiroth was the best boss battle in an RPG. There is a reason everyone lists that one...it was grand and epic in scale as well as the player actually being emotionally invested in slaying him. Not on the PS1, the best boss was Gandalf in Ocarina of Time for N64.

The Most Difficult Final Boss Battle of All time had to be Zeromus of FF4 It was so hard that I never actually beat him, though my sister did...* jealousy * meh...

Sephiroth, Ultimecia and Kuja are very goods Bosses.For me are the bests.

id say YORAE(i think the spelling is wrong) dragon in BO4, where Fou-lou is the dominant dragon...hehehe you get to be the boss in the game and kick your comadre's behinds. i dont like sephiroth because it was not that challenging, you could only kill each of his forms with 2 turns, either with Omnislash-Knights of round combo or Knights of round- mime... :laugh:

I was about to say "Luca Blight" but then I noticed the topic referred to FINAL boss...Hmm... I'm gonna go with Giygas from EB. Due primarily to the unique way in which he is dispatched, and the speculation regarding what Giygas actually is.
