I know it's not REALLY a final boss but I just love Omega Weapon (FFVIII) 1 hit and all ur chars are at 1 hp *-*

I know it's not really a final boss but if it was My vote would be on Omega Weapon fro FF8 (that thing was a BEAST), but since it is not i will have to go FF9 final fight, if you didn't tackle him just right...

for me well i guess sephiroth he was one of the bosses that i already faced and defeated though i wasnt able to finish the others sephiroth was one of the best boss i faced thats it...

I think it is Dhaos from Tales of Phatasia. His attacks were strong and he had three different forms.

I think the final boss from Terranigma was cool and the storyline was decent to go with it, although there were a few bosses that were more challenging. those of you who played it know who I'm talking about probably.and jack from Fable, in both his human form and dragon form for those who played the lost chapters version of the game.

I'd have to say that my favorite boss in an RPG was Giygas, from Earthbound.He was a unique boss, in that you only fight for the first half of the match, and then you pray to all your friends to save you. It's a fun boss and definately one of my all time favorites.

Kefka was hands down the best boss battle in any video game. A 3 tier boss that almost required you to use every character, you had to be perfect to beat him. That made it all the more satisfying when you did.

I got 3. It's in order from funnest to not as fun but still one of the best 3 in my book.1:SA-X (Samus Aran-X) from Metroid Fusion (which has four ending depending on how fast you beat it, and how much you finished)2:The Final Colossus from Shadow of the Colossus (ending was kick-ass too)3: Kefka from FF6 ( All awesome, but Kefka was a pain, also making it the most fun)

Lavos from Chrono Trigger is pretty cool.I also liked:(1. Goddess from Breath of Fire(2. The Three Headed Dragon from Golden Sun II: The Lost Age.(3. Dullahan from Golden Sun II: The Lost Age.Dullahan was hard to beat. It took me a long time too, even with Summons.

There's quite alot of rpgs out there and alot of final bosses. What do you think is the bestMy vote would probally be Earthbound's , there's still none like it.Honorable mentions1.Dragon Warrior-maybe the only game to have you fight whats in the title.2.Kefka-Multi tier who still presented something of a challenge(unlike a certain other final boss )3.Romancing Saga 3- if you haven't played it, go get the rom and pick Sara as your main character. i agree. too many people overlook the fact that Sephiroth wants to do his mother.i like Vayne from FFXII as he was very professional as at times you didn't even think he was a bad guy, but at the end he becomes imber powerful with gigaflare swordIt was Kefka. And none of this besides Seph crap
