This is another game where you use the stick to fight enemies. Very original. I think also the begining was very linear. So I 'll see what the rest of it looks like...

The game is good in the sense that it is innovative, but there are some points that can be improved. For example, the AI. And sometimes, the battles become too repetitive. But other than that, I'd say the game rocks. XD

This seems like a logical progression of the RPG genre. Imagine what a (theoritical) real mage must do during a battle::- memorize his spells- concentrate- chant it correctly- target and aim to the enemy- and focus his energy while releasing the spell- all the while moving around and avoiding attacks!scribbling a small stylus seems quite a breeze now, doesn't it?? :P

Amen. I beat the game after a couple days and then beat it in hard mode. Ironically, hard mode was really easy because the game carries over all the monsters you capture and all your runes. But real-time casting actually helps if you manage correctly. For instance, if one of your monsters is injured and far away from your main character, you can simply direct away from the fray over to your main character, then while it's traveling draw the healing rune and cast it. Then you send your monster right back into battle while you recharge mana.As you can probably tell, I'm addicted to this game.

it's also sort of RTS, as I understand.

RTRPG is a mix of RTS and RPG ;)Also, I really enjoyed this game myself, it's tough, you'll get your money's worth, and apparently, replay value is decent!-Xero.

Actually, I found the first Sage battle to be the hardest part of the game. Later on in the game you get more spells (particularly High Bless to monster rush everyone) which makes it easier to exploit the weaknesses of the bosses.

I didn't like this game too much, the control system dominated me so hard it wasn't even funny. DS needs more rpg games

This game was good until I realized that all you really need to do to win the battles agains the sages was just to just have your monsters jump the sage >_> after that the game became too easy. Then in wifi all I see happening is people casting like wurm spells and blast spells and thats pretty much it. Theres not much depths at all sadly

It's a great game and the wifi makes it even better. It's an innovative game, which is hard to find these days (although the DS has brought more innovative games than PS2+XBOX+XBOX360+PSP). It has some points that need to be reworked at but hopefully they'll make Lost Magic 2 with these problems solved.

It was really easy for me until the Light boss in Hard mode, because of his defence-magicking so I find it hard to kil even one monster. It's a great game though and I'd definitely recommend it.

I couldn't get into it either, I'm a real rpg freak but this one didn't do it for me. Still waiting for the stream of RPG's coming out this year

It's a good game, it just takes a bit of time to get used to. The control system is hard to get used to, I'll give you that, but the game is really fun once you get past that.

Crimson Rain
The Crimson liquid that flows from the wounds...
It's life-giving power wasted away in life...
What can it do besides provide power?
Nothing...that is the simple truth...
Blood flows freely from time to time, unchecked by others...
Those who inflict it, may they find peace...
For their tortured souls must have it before the leave.

I tried this game for 3 days and hated it... this game is the kind of rpg that is too limited doesn´t offer the option for you to go wherever you wan´t to go and the battle system is bad too. waited much for this one. comparing with mario & luigi partners in time, LM is ****.

I just downloaded this game, and it's not bad surprisingly. It won't compare to games like Final Fantasy, but I think it could hold it's own. I wonder why the reviews were so bad for this game?
