the other series are not exactly clones for example yugioh at first is just about rpg's or any other kind of games that you can play at the price of your soul later on the made the rest of the series about cards digimon does seem like a clone of pokemon but there is a lot more violence in it and beyblade is about spinning tops how is that a clone of pokemon i don't won't to argue with you and stuff just wanted to make my pointI say pokeom series..The other are clones..

what your saying is true but really pokemon most likely was not the only manga and game to come out that talks about monsters except for the fact that it's pocket monsters and i'm pretty sure you guys all know that pokemon are just animals with powers who are forced to fight each other in battleOut of those, my favorite one is the one that makes the most sense.Come on, did Egyptians really play card games to fight their wars? >.<Can spinning tops really have monsters inside them?
And Digimon is cool but its a Pokemon rip-off.
In real life people can use animals to fight each other so Pokemon is the closest one to reality.^ Lots of sarcasm.EDIT: In a way rumeal, all of them are clones of Pokemon. In some shape or form, they all are. :EDIT

Uh, yeah. But it was the best manga about monsters fighting each other and it had a sorta different concept from the other monster shows, like Monster Rancher.what your saying is true but really pokemon most likely was not the only manga and game to come out that talks about monsters except for the fact that it's pocket monsters and i'm pretty sure you guys all know that pokemon are just animals with powers who are forced to fight each other in battle

castlevania has very good games and might be better than beyblade and yugioh games but not pokemonHow about none of the above because all of these are terrible. Or how about adding Castlevania which is by far the best.
