sounds like an ok idea POINTS were deducted for this post by HadelPlease have a look at the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

It would be great to see a FF7 on Ds, but its imposible for de lack of memory of the Ds, but im sure that FF5 and FF6 will be realeses

I'd rather see a brand new Final Fantasy title, or perhaps another enhanced game like FFIII. I'd imagine the only plausible way to cram FFVII onto a single cartridge would be to dumb down the game, and I doubt anyone would want that to happen.

Why could they not release it using several cart's?? It's not like the PS1 game was on one disc lol!I'm sure they could load user data into RAM, and keep it there while you play the game and when you stop playing/save the data is written to whichever card is in the slot.I kept my PS1 for ages just because of FFVII so i hope it does come on the ds would love to play through the story again!

Who'd want to have to pay for multiple cartridges? The game is old enough that the prospect of having to jack up the price to print multiple cartridges is silly, and that's assuming that can even be done on the DS at all given you'd have to port over save data as well without the aid of a memory card. Besides, would you really want to have to carry around multiple carts just in case you finish one and can't progress due to not having the next cart? It goes against the entire point of a portable game.

it would be nice for ff7 to be Ds though, however i still prefer ff10 though, but i still think it would be not so possible as most of the ff series game requires more than 1 disc on ps/ps2, and needless to say it will be large in ds

No, you miss my point. You wouldn't have to buy each cart seperately, they come together, like the FF7 discs did.

I dont think they will. If they wont do it for PS3 they probably wont do it for DS.

i really think they should either remake or port FF VII to IX to either the DS or the psp, seems like the thing to do since they've already done I to VI

Final Fantasy 7 is only for Sony PSP.. not Nintendo DS .. ^_^

it would really be nice if ff7 would be ported to the ds, but i think that possibility is not so possible. besides it would be better if they make a new ff game than just port it from the old game. ff7 was really a great game though

id personally love to c ff7 for ds however i must agree that its not likely 4 ds. Havin said that i dont think it wudd b on any other console cos ff3 sold so well on ds (plus i think maybe just mayb ff4 will sell well as well) i think we'll hav to wait at least till the next generation of consoles comes out till we see a port mainly cos that so many square ff games hav been ported already.

I don't think it will be ported to the DS.Though I believe the DS could handle it.DS has better graphics support, I think.And if needed, the music and videos wthin the game could be converted to some smaller extension, yet a good one. Technology is always improving.But indeed, I think it would rather be ported to the PSP.
