FF7 can't be on a Nintendo DS because the original game wasn't on a Nintendo console! That's why all the other spinoffs were on a Sony Playstation console.

The ds' memory is WAAY too small to hold that much data.Final Fantasy 7 was THREE discs...How would you compact that onto a DS card without destroying the game's storyline? You know they'd have to cut out some things, which would be a shame.

i'd go with ff7 on psp. played crisis core and loved it. plus i doubt gameplay n graphics of it suits ds.

I think it would be fantastic if FF7 were put on the DS. It was the first ff game I ever played (as well as my first RPG) and I still love it, crappy graphics and all.

I've been waiting for a FF7 remake for a really, really long time, probably like every other fan in the world. But sadly i don't think one is ever going to come out :/If Square hasn't done it yet, then i don't think they ever will.They're crazy though, because i can guarantee that a remake of that game would make them a HUGE amount of money

nawwww Nintendo has a bunch of FF games already so why would they remake FF7 it would have to be like a sequeal because psp has prequeal

Well DS doesn't seem to render graphics as well as the ps or psp so a FF7 is not likely and if you really think that graphics on DS is rendered better then find out why FF4 graphics wasn't made to impress on DS.What the title says. the DS has Slightly better graphics then the PS1, and FF7 is one of sqares best games. I hope they do.

I think it should be ported, but not to the DS. I'd like to see it on 360/PS3. I wouldn't mind it on the DS but I really wish they would put it on those 2 consoles I just mentioned.

They Did FF7 Crisis core which was awesome. Hopefully someday we'll get a remake of FF7 with better graphics and maybe even a little voice acting, eh? Although half the fun of older RPGs is being able to name all the characters.

i'm sure if it will fit for the ds. i mean, the ps had 3 discs but the ds has only one cartridge and graphics and sound quality will be not as good as the original version so in my opinion, ff7 remake should only be for ps3.
