Silver never played the first 3 games (Red, blue and yellow). Best in the series until now in my opinion.

i think that most people i know that play(ed) pokemon started with pokemon yellow, what was the first pokemon game any way?

I played Pokemon Blue on the GB. I look at it now and think, "Ye gods, why?". For some reason now, I got back into the Pokemon thing with Diamond/Pearl.

lol same :_ .. so hard to level the pichaku .. i had to catch the ceterpilar lvl to buterfree to pass the frist gym ldr brock

pokemaon red was both the first pokemon game i played and the first gba game i played.

me my 1st pokemon game is pokemon crystal Its just for gameboy color but its very fun and :) remember the lapras at the beggining it is really fun i think you sould play it first before playing complicated pokemon games like emerald i hope you like it . . . . .. .. . . .

Only answer if u have atually played pokemon before lol. My first pokemon game was pokemon gold on a sp. ( funny story behind that atually)

My first one was the blue version... but from what i remember, the quality was really bad. Then i moved on to the yellow version which was a tad better but still nothing compared to the games today.

Pokemon Yellow(not my favourite)!I had that silly Pikachu following my character which I find pretty silly and annoying and it even has different moods which make it the most unique (but not fun) Pokemon game ever

Mine was Pokemon Blue and Green, I didn't really know what Pokemon was back then and when I started the game had been played and I started in viridian forest and I realized my father played :)
